So with tapeout in March, what's the earliest we could see finished chips?
Tapeout in a few days

Finished chips in march.

Just a quick explanation:

Taped out
Refers to the completion of the design of a chip. The next stage is to put it into production. The term comes from the early days when designs were transferred to the fabricator via magnetic tape.

So all the specifications you get from FC about the chip rightnow comes from simulations. There's actually still no physical chip produced so there's still a lot of things that can go wrong or be delayed. It's not until the real chip can be benchmarked that we will know for real. I would advice to be a bit cautious before buying into stocks at the current high prices.

its too late, share price has hardly move, this is bad news, fc gave the update to stop it from sliding to .1 btc which is still overpriced. I'm afraid its all over at this point.
That sounds totally unrealistic. The price will however drop back to around .3 when the price manipulation is over.

It was announced so long ago we've all forgotten lol

20th rings a bell but that's because FC normally reports on the 20th ... normally ... thought the tapeout was happening before that.

Anyone got a link to the FC announcement?

Update

PR & Communications
We understand that transparency and communication to shareholders and the public needs improvement. We are in the process of identifying a dedicated employee for this. We will issue bi-weekly reports for shareholders and improve response time for questions.

Next Gen Chips
The projected time of taping out of Gen3 is January 20. Power consumption target estimation is <0.2W per G on low power mode and <0.2$ per G on wafer cost. Please notice that the timeline is of course subject to change/adjust, and the estimation on power and cost is also based on software tool/simulation results.

Current Hardware Sales
The number of cubes left for sale/deployment is 9000. About 1/3 are ordered already. All older devices (USBs/new blades) are sold out.

G.ASICMINER
If nothing unexpected happens, Ukyo will provide a shareholder list to Friedcat on Dec 1, for direct shares.

Thanks for making the CSV API available post-mortem, Burnside!

For those that are looking to use it - it's really easy, just insert the API key that Burnside emailed us last night and a CSV file will download itself to your browser:

Your personal portfolio   https://btct.co/csv/portfolio?key=[API key]
Your complete trade history   https://btct.co/csv/trades?key=[API key]
Your complete dividend history   https://btct.co/csv/dividends?key=[API key]
Your complete deposit history   https://btct.co/csv/deposits?key=[API key]
Your complete withdrawal history   https://btct.co/csv/withdrawals?key=[API key]

I just downloaded my portfolio and it seems I still have 267 TAT.ASICMINER shares on there??
I requested Thick as Thieves to transfer them to Havelock in the end of November. Guess it never happened?
I've sent him an email and a message here on the board. Hope to get it straightened out.

Ticker,Quantity,"Last Change"
ASICMINER-PT,0,"2013-09-26 22:14:23"
TAT.ASICMINER,267,"2013-09-20 20:11:55"

Do you have the shares on your Havelock account? Since BTCT is frozen, the share-count there will not be decreased after the transfer, so it will keep saying you have 267 TAT.ASICMINER shares on BTCT.

Just double checked my account. Seems they got transferred over.. All good Smiley

AM100 & TAT.ASICMINER Offer (Limited Time Only, Ends Nov. 15, 2013)
Additionally, we will be offering AM100 or TAT.ASICMINER shareholders a temporary service to convert their shares into AM1 or direct shares for a fee of 5 (five) TAT.ASICMINER shares per whole share. That is a 105:1 ratio.

Example #3: You have 1000 AM100 shares, but you want to convert them to AM1 shares. Push 1050 AM100 shares back to us, and email us according to the directions below.[/i]

How to Convert Your AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) Shares to Direct Shares with Friedcat
 1. Using the Transfer feature, push the AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) shares to the issuer account. They must be a 105:1 ratio, this means the minimum is 105 AM100 or TAT.ASICMINER shares.
 2. Make the subject of your email: AM100
 3. Send an e-mail to tat.investments@gmail.com from your account email address registered with HavelockInvestments.com and include the following info:
  - Account name
  - Quantity of shares pushed
  - Wallet address that you want the direct shares attached to
  - Email address you want the shares attached to

Do NOT send your request more than once, and do NOT include multiple requests in one email.

Conversions will be transferred in batches, and confirmations will ONLY be sent after each batch. Do NOT send emails requesting updates.

NOTE: TAT Investments is not responsible for any lost value, arbitrage, or trading opportunities due to delays in processing transfer requests. TAT Investments is not responsible for any limitations or discontinuations of services or access to liquidity imposed by the host exchanges.

Is tat.investments@gmail.com the correct address to xfer AM100 shares to on Havelock?

Hi there and welcome! Any news from KNC? What do you think of them?

No news that I know of. Don't know much of them. Have read up on some news and seen some articles in Sweden but got no clue on when they will deliver.

Introducing myself
by
papiraul
on 29/06/2013, 18:08:27 UTC
Just wanted to do a quick introduction of myself.

I'm running a small indie label together with my wife. She's a Swedish singer/songwriter with five full album releases and a long history of touring in the US.

I have plans of integrating bitcoin into our business and for our online music shops. I also have plans for collecting tips at smaller shows and for selling merch at live concerts. I'm really interested in different platforms and solutions for making these plans possible in the future. I'll be browsing the boards for news and opportunities for new business solutions.

I've set up a really quick shop to test out how to sell digital downloads. If anyone would like to help me test the portal I've put up Sofia Talvik's latest album for sale for just €1. http://makakimusic.se

Ps. Sorry for the minimalistic and boring layout. I've stripped the old site for testing purposes. Ds.
