Maybe you got me wrong. I'm fine with this, because I wanted to move them to a Z address anyway. Still it should be mentioned that it's mandatory (is it with cli, too?). Alternatively this necessity should be removed. Apart of that AFAIK there's no other BTCP wallet that supports (importing from?) Z addresses yet.

This error message reminds me of the old Microsoft helicopter joke. 

Moving the imported coins to a Z address happens automatically when you confirm the sweep dialog (maybe there was no such dialog in 1.0.0). Now that there is such a dialog anyhow, I don't understand why it doesn't mention the necessity to do so later manually in case you don't want to have it done immediately.

For me this didn't work. btcpd complained about missing peers.dat or missing uxto_snapshot. With peers.dat and uxto_snapshot I got no connections. Sooner or later btcpd gave up either way.

Yes, starting at about 99.61% or 99.65% it's getting very slow. Here it took hours to reach 99.74% (16Mbs, HDD), but thereafter it's a matter of less than an hour.

You can use a Z address to get BTCP, but AFAIK so far there's no BTCP wallet which supports Z addresses. Maybe it supports them when it's finally released at fork day.

To start the node you don't need any transaction. You only need it if you want to publish your public key. The amount doesn't matter and you can also use a token, e.g. Ignis.
You can even forge with 0 ARDR deposited to this account if you lease at least 1000 from an other account.

To get it connecting and synchronizing, you have to edit zclassic.conf (in linux ~/.zclassic/zclassic.conf). In linux you might not need to download the sprout-proving.key and sprout-verifying.key files, if the command
./zcutil/fetch-params.sh
works.  I didn't try to install in windows.

Thx, nice to know about plans for the future, but this thing is up and running now already and suggests it can be used. The only thing that works right now is reducing the balance by the fee you pay for opening a trade offer that doesn't work. 

Srsly, how to buy XCP at Counterpary?

Yesterday I opened a buy order. After some time it was accepted, but pending. In the trade history there was also an older trade with this status. Today my trade is open again and along with the other pending trade and a few completed trades it's no longer in the trade history. Now history ends with a trade from 2017/06/11. 

Who should want to use something like this?

Wieviele Einträge hat der kleinere Account? Bei mir sind es 145. Ich hoffe, dass es morgen wieder geht.
