WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

So here is the theory.

Because RBI and Govt have given stern warning that those get involved are at their own risk, and that its highly risky, banks cannot go back to RBI, if any issues with these cryptos?

But it does not add up unless bank gives them loan which if these guys default later, then there is a substantial risk. What is risky in just acting as a payment gateway between customers and them? In fact, that helps keep things in account automatically. And its huge revenue for these banks acting as intermediary. Why would they choose not to, when many are in bad shapes due to bad NPAs.

By these arm twisting tactics, banks are only pushing people towards more and more decentralization proving bitcoin's point.

Btw, coindelta seems normal as per their website. coinsecure only kyc issues, which i hope has nothing to do with banks.

What is the USP you are trying to bring in or you want to just join the already growing crowd of bitcoin exchanges?

What is happening in Koinex and others?

I understand many exchanges are having troubles with deposit and withdrawals. I am trying to connect the dots here and request any one to share any more info because our hard earned money is stuck in these exchanges.

Recently there was series of raids for tax compliance on many exchanges by income tax authorities.

These exchanges earlier had delays but that was due to load. After these raids, some exchanges mysteriously started avoiding or penalizing deposits/withdrawals. However some are back to normal.

Coinsecure - which was also part of raid, is back to normal, no deposit or withdrawal issues

Koinex - consistent deposit and withdrawal stopped with no date or fix in sight.

Coinome - new to market, not accepting new users, but who knows, this deposit/withdrawal issue could also be the cause for them to suspend the new signups.

ethexindia - all deposit and withdrawal stopped when am writing this, with no date in sight.

coindelta -all deposits/withdrawals stopped though new signups allowed

some are accepting payment gateways but that is with 2% charge which is a no go.

What I feel could be one inference is that, those exchanges who showed good compliance probably are going smoothly. For eg, Coinsecure.
But exchanges like koinex are new to market (started only this year), so probably struggling with compliance, triggering red signals from authorities, which further leading to banks no more co operating or freezing till they are back to compliance.

This is just one theory. What do you think? And do we have any info that could add peace to the mind?

What is more surprising is there, despite the fiat freeze, the trade on koinex going on smooth, with prices higher or equal than other exchanges. While one can deposit cryptos and continue trading, I still wonder, how this could go on without any dump as many users are naturally frustrated due to fiat blockage.

Buying Bitcoin and exchanging it for other alts is the best option now. For exchanging BTC to alts you can use Changelly (changelly.com). There are some sites that claim to convert INR to ETH and others. I suggest you go with the trusted exchanges.

The problem is keep tracking of exchange to calculate profit.. Its difficult to reference them to fiat to calculate profit considering all fees in each buy/sell and conversions

Anyone from India withdrew fiat using CEX.IO Mastercard feature?
by
parthi2929
on 05/11/2017, 07:03:31 UTC
Hi

I learn that CEX.IO provides fiat withdrawal via Mastercard, which is ver fast and also very cheap compared to traditional wire transfer.

Has any one in India, tried that? Banks are having no idea about it. In India, inward remittances are given with a charge, so I also doubt, if they would have disabled or not allowed Mastercard to provide this feature yet.

CEX.IO is not able to clearly specify about this feature, except saying its a P2P. And Indian banks are having no idea about it.

So if any one has already tried using this feature  from India, we could try that bank.

Please help.

Re: Pre fork BTC transferred to exchange from electrum, how to still extract BCH?
by
parthi2929

It would appear that the Electron Cash server you are connected to is unable to find any unspent BCH outputs for that address. It's quite possible, that your Electron Cash wallet is connecting to a BTC server (ElectronCash is a bit flaky like that)... you may want to untick AutoConnect and select one manually... look for the servers that specify BCC in the name.

After selecting a BCC server, you may need to shutdown ElectronCash, delete the blockchain_headers file from the EC datadir and restart ElectronCash and then wait for a few minutes for it to sync up...
[/quote]

Can you please suggest reliable BCC server?

HELP: Stuck in BCH extraction
by
parthi2929
on 22/08/2017, 11:56:00 UTC
Hi

I am trying to extract BCH from pre fork BTC.

I have one particular address and its private key for a low BTC which I initially wanted to test.

I checked in blockchair, and that shows 0.03 BTC and 0.01 BCC.

1. SHOULDN'T I HAVE EQUAL AMOUNT OF BCC?

And then I installed electron cash in a separate laptop, created a new wallet, new seed, and after entering the wallet, I did

Wallet -> Private Keys -> Sweep.

Here, I entered the respective private key for 0.03 BTC, (the address field was already filled up), and clicked Sweep.

2. I got "No inputs found. (Note that inputs need to be confirmed)" message and that's it. Nothing happens.

I have set server to Auto connect. What is happening? Please help.

Note: The address was part of electrum wallet, and I have sent all BTC in electrum wallet to an exchange prior to fork.

Pre fork BTC transferred to exchange from electrum, how to still extract BCH?
by
parthi2929
on 19/08/2017, 03:53:25 UTC
Hi

I had few pre fork BTC which I moved to electrum before Aug 1st and then later back to exchange after Aug 1st.

Since BCH extraction was thought to be putting BTC also at risk, I didnt do much about it. Now that BCH seems already established and growing, would like to try it out.

As per electrum website, below are the steps given.

1. Install Electron Cash on a machine that does not have your
 Electrum wallets.

 2. Wait until the BCC hard fork has taken place, and a few BCC blocks
 have been mined.

 3. Move all your Electrum funds to a new Electrum wallet. This will
move only your BTC, and not your BCC, because the BCC blockchain has
replay protection. Wait until the transaction is confirmed.

 4. Enter the seed of your (now empty) old wallet or private keys in
Electron Cash. Since the BTC have been moved to a new wallet,
entering your old seed in Electron Cash will not put your BTC funds
 at risk.

In that 3rd step, instead of electrum wallet, it is now an exchange. In that case, still I could be able to extract BCH? Below is what I intend to do

1. Install electron cash in new machine (though old machine with electrum does not have any any more BTC)
2. Enter the seed of old wallet in electron cash. Now will I get BCH? More than that, will it any way affect BTC which had been moved to exchange already?

Exchange told me, they could only provide BCH for pre fork BTC which was already in exchange during the fork. Thats y for pre fork BTC in electrum which had been sent to exchange, i am on my own.

Kindly clarify.

Re: A whale in the pool? Coinsecure Constant since yesterday
by

on 29/06/2017, 14:49:08 UTC
Actually we are too limited in India currently because only handful of sites for bitcoin exchange, and coinsecure so far provides best rates (lowest buy, highest sell) among Indian players (even compared with local bitcoins).

Further, outward remittances are very much restricted in India, a big hassle, so its very difficult atm to try Intl exchanges as alternatives.

This is why such observations on Coinsecure.

I was sharing my observation to get different points of view on this to learn.

A whale in the pool? Coinsecure Constant since yesterday
by
parthi2929
on 29/06/2017, 04:03:50 UTC
Hi

New to trading. Observed an interesting phenomenon yesterday. While the international exchanges are trading high and low, Coinsecure was constant from yesterday night at 176500. (This has been happening often in coinsecure)

http://i.imgur.com/PD1iIdm.png

This as per my understanding was a huge sell order for 40L for about 23 bitcoins and till I am writing this post its still going on as not enough buyers from yesterday.

http://i.imgur.com/A9uhDsm.png

Was wondering what could be his motives..
1. Seller wanted to clear all BTC due to upcoming fork?
2. Due to tax, GST? (Its month end, but wait, shouldn't be buy order then?)
3. Or simply a millionaire playing with this "small amount"
4. Trader trying to bring market down, and then buy at lower prices? (why so when upcoming fork itself poses that scenario)

What should we do?
1. Buy as this is a good oppurtunity? (Price dropped from 181k to 176k sharply at 7 pm yesterday, Intl exchange very slowly raising)
2. Avoid buying and wait for price drop? (As this huge sell may bring market down to 170k for eg)

Please share your thoughts.

Re: Too much price difference in Google search vs actual Indian exchange
by
parthi2929
on 26/06/2017, 07:27:01 UTC
True. Everyone in India is selling at a premium. Too much greed?

If it was only user-to-user exchange rate (coinsecure) which was at premium rates, i would call it greed.

But the direct buy (unocoin) prices are also at same level. This much difference cannot be attributed only to currrency conversion charges, right?

Coinsecure price always been way much lower then compared of unocoin and zebpay. Can anyone suggest me any foreign exchange from where I can buy BTC

You can buy if you have Moneypolo Verified account . Add funds via Credit / Debit card and then withdraw as BTC-E Code or withdraw to OKPAY then get bitcoin [ Total process can get you 6 - 8% fees ]

You can buy from bitlish.com(KYC to be submitted) through credit card.

Current price - 2345$

Fee-4%+0.25$=~95$

Now Convert it to INR=2440x65=158600

Plus Foreign conversion markup fee+tax on CC=4.1% =165103

Current price on coinsecure 189000

Profit-->189000-165103=23897(in one day)

I have not included exchange fee and bitcoin transfer fee

If you do this method often you will come under FEMA act of Indian Govt.

There is a limit of 10L or 50L per year for credit cards under FEMA act,not much sure about this..

Does the normal Indian debit/credit card works in that?

Well guys sweet arbitrage opportunity right now for Indians . Just made pure 2500 INR profit today , crazy premium price in Indian exchanges lol Tongue thanks to Moneypolo <3

Can you please share your knowledge on how much lost in transaction fees? And which Intl exchange you used for buying using Money polo?

Because with cards like this: Transaction fees on loading to Money polo + 3-5% transaction fees on using cards to buy bitcoins. So Need to analyze.

Kindly share your workflow in detail.
