Re: Swap WBTC to BTC make BTC anonymous?
by

on 03/06/2021, 08:57:20 UTC
I use coinjoin, but when I have to make swaps, then I loose privacy again. Guys, how can I trade BTC -> Stablecoins -> BTC without loose of privacy?
Using decentralized exchanges (e.g. Bisa or Hodl hodl) you could trade BTC/DAI or BTC/USDC, your privacy and identity will be not exposed since that's exchanges is trully decentralized not like those called swap that has less decentralized. For better privacy use mixer before trade on DEX.

Quote
If I need FIAT I can trade on an KYC exchange a coinjoined BTC, then I use this FIAT pay taxes and everything is ok.
Seems contradicting, why you want to hide your privacy if you still use KYC exchanges (centralized)? Even though KYC is mandatory but you could get asked to provide KYC.

KYC is mandatory in my country in order to send funds to an ordinary checking account and use debit card.

For example:
If I have 2 coinjoined BTC, I send 0.2 anonimously to my kyc centraliced exchange, and then use this funds. The rest is sold on uniswap (or other ETH dex) to USDC at 60k and bought at 44k, then I have now more than 2 btc then I have to coinjoin again...

I wish to repeat until death.

Swap WBTC to BTC make BTC anonymous?
by
patinencomun
on 02/06/2021, 14:58:11 UTC
Hi,
If I have WBTC on ETH network, then I use curve.fi to swap WBTC from Ethereum network to BTC network, is the swap info, btc destination address and/or other info stored in any database or even in the main ETH network?

Same question can be done in a BTCB to BTC swap info with binance bridge.

Thank you.

on 15/02/2021, 07:32:19 UTC
Hi,

for example, I have 1WBTC and go to Curve.fi to set it as input, then, a new BTC address as output.
If everything is ok I will have 0.99817926 BTC into a new BTC address.

Can any trace my ETH address where WBTC was stored from new BTC address?

Thank you.

Private transactions and/or private and anonymous exchange service?
by
patinencomun
on 20/01/2021, 06:29:42 UTC
hi,
If I have coins in ETH1 address and I create ETH2 on same wallet, how can I transfer coins from ETH1 to ETH2 to ensure people who knows ETH1 lose trace and make coins private in ETH2 again?

For example I have 10 coins in ETH1, then I transfer 1 to Coinbase, then Coinbase knows that I have 9 coins in my wallet.

Option 1: use no KYC services like simpleswap or stealthex.

are there alternatives?
thank you.

Relationship between account on same seed
by
patinencomun
on 19/01/2021, 11:09:18 UTC
Hi,
I wish to know the relationship between accounts created with same seed:

Create a wallet, save the 24 word seed, (electrum, ledger,...) and gives me, for example, an ETH address: ETH1
Wallets can create new addresses, then I create ETH2. I have ETH1 and ETH2 adresses on wallet.

If someone knows that ETH1 is property of John Smith, there is possibility to find relationship between ETH2 with ETH1?

Same question in different way?
If a thief know that ETH1 is property of John Smith, John Smith must create ETH2 or must create a new wallet to be "anonymous" again.

Thank you.

Hi,
after a lot of tryies now phenixminer returns "Access Denied", claymore is working in same machine, and phoenixminer is working in other machines.

Seems some protection of the application or Windows aplication ban, but can't find any windows restriction.

Any help would be appreciated.

3 cards
5700XT, 5700, 480 4GB

PhoenixMiner 5.2a ~19 Mhs with -daglim 3967, any greater daglim produces a hashrate drop to 0-1 Mhs

If I use PhoenixMiner for the 5700 and Lolminer with 480 it makes 30,31Mhs

Driver 20.8.1, Windows.

Any suggestion?

hi,
when passed through epoch 372 to 373 miner goes from 30mh to 1.5, restarting miner solved the problem.

Could you add an autorestart when hashrate drops or epoch changes? Thank you.

Hi, today I started mining with 4GB cards. Works great but you have to set all parameters in bios directly. And there is a 5% of rejected shares, is this normal?

start /min C:\Users\userpath\miner\PhoenixMiner_5.1c_Windows\PhoenixMiner.exe [params]

In this situation all works fine, but no log files is written on PhoenixMiner folder.
Where log files gone?

Re: Trade crypto from ledger hardware wallet
by

Ok, after some tryies of wallets that allow trades like:

exodus
atomicwallet
coinomi
...
They all use partners that says some kind of "KYC can be requested and money can be bloqued". Like changelly or similar.

I tried Bisq,
looks really promising, If I understand it well, you have a new kind of wallet called Bisq that have trade features between other wallets. In order to trade I have to create an ETH account on Bisq, transfer ETH from my cold wallet to Bisq ETH account, trade for BTC on Bisq and then, transfer BTC from Bisq to my cold storage.

Now there is low volume on BTC/ETH and others, but sure this will come bigger if this really works and ETH/BTC goes closer or higher than 0.1
Seems amazing, any other have experience working on bisq?
