My wallet disappeared over a year ago with 200+ LTC in it, possibly due to me running CCleaner for Mac over my machine (which looks for and deletes .dat files as part of its sweep as far as i can tell). I have made several attempts to locate my wallet including using Photorec and dumping the existing wallet.dat, but to no avail. I am going for one last chance attempt to recover it before giving up and moving on.
I am attempting to use pywallet to recover the wallet from my machine by issuing the following,
and left two files, recovered_wallet_1388812907.dat and pywallet_partial_recovery_1388812907.dat in the specified 'Looking' directory.
Can these unencrypted keys be recovered or am i snookered?
Any help with this would mean the world to me
The first person to come up with a successful solution to this problem and aid me in restoring my LTC will get 10 of them which is roughly 240 Dollars at current market value.

which returned Code:
Read 121.3 Go in 58.5 minutes
Found 0 possible wallets
Found 0 possible encrypted keys
Found 1640 possible unencrypted keys
Found 0 possible wallets
Found 0 possible encrypted keys

Does anyone have a precompiled copy of either Xolominer, Primeminer (or some other miner) for Mac OS X? Its a nightmare to get it up and running and i would love to get my hackintosh up and mining XPM

We need to cut our losses and get behind the work that TacoTime is doing with NetCoin. What we are currently doing with ByteCoin is nothing more that a feeble attempt to ride on Bitcoin's coat-tails... a little pathetic chaps (that includes myself.)

I am hoping the silence means that somewhere the monkeys are furiously implementing the white sheet and working on the client. But an update would be nice.
You where given enough time. Its now time to refund your 'clients' before things get any worse. You clearly didn't know how to run a service, and that ok. You just need to be man enough to admit that fact and move on
To those who think what occurred here was a criminal offence, think again, you are dealing with something which is not recognised to have any ACTUAL value by the authorities or any official body in ANY country. You (Myself included) where stupid enough to place your coin in somewhere which was CLEARLY hooky. Grow a pair and chalk it up to experience.
As for Byte-Gox, if he in fact, did run a scam here it was the single stupidest I've seen in all my years. He has a crap ton of BTE and a handful of BTC. His actions have effectively brought the value of BTE to 0 and no one will ever do business with him again, The BTC he has is what im worried about and as a community we should put as much pressure on this guy to return what he has as soon as possible. But "calling the cops"?? Grow up children.

Yeah I'm just going to say it, the whole clonecoin thing puts legitimate Altcoin like PPC and LTC in jeopardy. No one will take them seriously... In reality the developers of these coins are only hurting themselves by degrading the value of cryptocoins as a whole.... i kind of think we need to shut down this subforum and open a specific subforums for LTC and *possibly* PPC.

As much as i appreciate the back and forth, this is quickly becoming an academic exercise instead of the future of the cryptocoin scene. I suggest a feature freeze is put in place and only major issues be debated.
