18 deposits yesterday, more than 55 now and I am still waiting to sync before entering the Pyramid. 
Try making a backup of your chaindata folder, or run a new one using --datadir "your/custom/directory/here" and then include the following arguments in geth: --fast --cache 512 (assuming you have a few GBs of RAM).
Process takes about 15 minutes to sync on my pc from block 0 to most recent one, at least when using the newest homestead wallet.

Are you sure you typed --fast and not just -fast?
Yes and now with geth.exe only, it says
port 303003 could not be mapped: no UPnP or Nat-PMP router discovered

I would like to create an altcoin that can be easily mined with low CPU for educational purposes.
Can anyone recommend a forkon Github ? Is CryptoNote a good solutions ?

I have just created my new coin and would like to know if it uses the same blockchain as Bitcoin ?
I have followed all the steps in the FAQ, getmininginfo is returning the same info since more than 20 minutes. how do I know that I am mining ?

Cela fait 3 fois que je tente de lancer Bitcoin Core. Après avoir essayé de rattraper tout le retard, il bloque avant la fin.
Auriez-vous une idée ?
