i`ve chosen this coin to begin with, - bought 2 used ATI cards (7950 + 7870) having ~1.1mh together. I`m too slow for litecoin, so I`ll mine credits hoping for its price to increase in future
Iv'e pretty much had a similar scenario, had a R9 290 since December but due to the rising difficulty of majority of coins, just one card isnt enough anymore (Poor student ). I've like the look of this coin since i first layed eyes on it. Too many crap coins overshadow the ones with potential.
Can http://vcc.altexc.com/index.php be removed from the pool list. The guy has clearly shut down the pool and ran off with peoples coins, i had 1 k on there .
add Velocitycoin and QQcoin both scrypt-jane means asic resistant when the asics for scrypt will get released in few months. also almost instant transactions without any problem. market is there.

I was originally mining litecoin, then moved over to doge coin and now velocity coin
My question is, should I believe my cgminer or pool stats with kH/s?
Your cgminer will have a more accurate representation of what you are mining at. You would be able to obtain more kh's with intensity on 20 but you would have to change other settings to accommodate it so no HW errors occur.
