Respect MaNI Respect. I could only dream of having the knowledge you do about the blockchain. Count me in as a witness, is 10000 coins the minimum required?

Dash masternode copy!!!!!
Damn how foolish are you Gulden con lovers 😂

Did you even take the time to read the whitepaper?

Dash has introduced an ‘instant payment’ that is supposedly secure, it uses
a system of ‘master nodes’ to handle the instant payment. The ’master nodes’
act as an extra control layer on top of the network, communicating among one
another. The problem is that in order to function these ’master nodes’ must
either act in a centralised way or must solve the same problems that make
a blockchain necessary in the first place. It follows reason and is speculated
that there are likely a variety of ways in which such a system can be attacked,
however, I have yet to find a proper analysis showing the details necessary to
determine this. For the sake of brevity, I won’t go into much more detail on
this concept except to say that the lack of proof that master nodes can in fact
function as claimed is enough to rule them out as a serious solution for now
from a Gulden perspective.

They call it Gulden 2.0, not 'blockchain 2.0'  nevertheless I think it earns that title as it adds a lot of new, unique and interesting features. Especially for the targetgroup that Gulden has in mind in the long-term: normal people.

I'm happy with the steady progress Gulden has made over the past year. I'm very curious how Gulden 2.0 and the EUR-NLG exchanges are going to take effect on the coin Smiley  I'm holding for a long time, that's one thing I'm sure of!

Totaly agree. And to call it only "a workaround" for some problems is a shame. The things Malcolm came up with aren't workarounds but real solutions.

Something to read on the kindle when I get home from work. Won't make any comments yet.

Bottom line. PoW block is signed by a selected node (in a sort of PoS fashion) before accepted in the chain. The signing node can add transactions to the block. So instead of one miner, you have now two miners per block.

It's something to work around some of the Blockchain problems, but calling it "Blockchain 2.0" is IMHO a bit of a far fetch. And it is something to have the centralised signing node, run by the dev team, removed.

Did you read a different whitepaper? They don't call it "Blockchain 2.0"

I just noticed Yaamp has logged in to bitcointalk on August 22, 2016, 08:13:14 PM.
So he is still around somewhere.

What's up Yaamp. Are you going to make sure everyone is getting their coins back?

I have funds of my own stuck in the wallets too, and I am somewhat bored and trying to figure out what has happened, and in some way willing to have the funds back into my control, altough I personally think that whenever I trust someone else my coins, I am assuming the risk of them falling out of my control, I would rarely try to enforce someone else's law.

It is just my personal opinion that trying to figure out what the hell happened to the persons involved, as I car more about this than I care about money.

I don't mean to upset or try to minimize the importance others give to their funds. The two persons who were moderators of the safecex chatbox, me and the one with the forum in crypto city, never had direct access to any wallets of the site's source code or hosting, that left exclusively to yaamp and therefore being his/her/theirs sole responsibility.

Also therefore my concerns about yaamp's whereabouts, because to find him/her/them is to retrieve access to whatever we would want to have access regarding safecex.

Did you find out anything about the disappearance of Yaamp already?

No sign of Yaamp yet. He hasn't sign in to BCT since May 13th and Safecex is still offline.

It would make me sad if someone comes up in the twitter account telling that has given up trying to put stuff back together.

I offered help already, I have no idea what's the size of the problem @yaamp is facing.

It would make you "sad"? If this is the end of Safecex, Yaamp should at least make sure everyone can withdraw his coins. It's a shame he is quiet for such a long time. He should apologize for this situation and tell what's going on.

If Yaamp doesn't have bad intentions, he would have let us know what's going on.
The facts are:
1. He does not respond to support tickets.
2. Withdrawal was almost impossible last weeks.
3. He hasn't been around for two weeks now.
4. Safecex is offline without any notice.

This smells like shit.

Warning: Do not use Safecex!

There is no admin around, only some chat mods. They don't respond to support tickets.
People can't withdraw their coins, or just a limited amount.

Repeat: Do not use Safecex!

You're not the only one having problems with YoBit. I'm also waiting for an answer from support for over a week now.

My (and other) NLG wallet is in maintenance for over a week. And yep, I'm also banned from chat. I guess I was a bit unpolite but that's because they just won't listen to complaints.

I have had problems with 2Fa, phone died, two weeks ago and I lost access to my account.
Has anyone had luck with support? I am hoping that Yobit can fix this for me.

Luck with support? Hmmmmmm..
So, maybe you are right. Their support system is indeed a lottery. You can create a support ticket, but the chance of being lucky to get actual help is 1 in a million.

NLG wallet is in maintenance for over a week now.

So I will repeat this again: DO NOT TRUST YOBIT.

I got lucky twice with password reset before so I guess it's not 1 in a million. Yobit may turn scam later on if blinded by the money in their wallets but we just don't know when and other exchanges also have the same possibility.

Or you are really lucky and should buy some lottery tickets. Smiley

I don't make up a story. My wallet is in maintenace for over a week now. I have also created a support ticket more than a week ago. Still no response. And if I have to believe other users, I can wait till hell freezes over for a response.

I've also asked about this issue multiple times in their chat, and now they banned the chat for me for a week.
So, they know about the issue but don't just don't care.

YoBit is scam. Don't use it. Period.

i make deposit and withdraw without problem in yobit during this time

no offense but your feedback here means nothing, and doesn't contribute to the discussion either.

we have all made deposit and withdrawals to yobit. it depends on the amount and time and also what coin?

their NLG wallet is under maintenance for nearly a week now without any response from their support staff about the length or reason of this ignorance. there are a lot of funds stuck there.

Exactly.

Day number 5 and I still can't use my wallet. No reaction to support tickets.
When you complain about this in chat, you will be banned. They don't like negative feedback.

YoBit should be stopped.
