If I go to lose the rest of the trade in the bear market, I will make a smart choice and sell the rest of the trade for protecting the balance. Otherwise, losing balance is the worst case. I don't want to be trapped in the bottom of the market, the other altcoins need investors too.

The lack of trading volume and less interest are the reasons why the exchange management decides to stop the partnership with the project and they delist the altcoin. No need to blame the market conditions, the market does everything correctly. The teams should spend a more time developing the project and investors will come later.
Halving can make thins go to higher levels but I doubt the bear market will continue further. The end of the bear market is near, it is matter of time to see a bull market. The crypto investors will surely invest more if the bear market ends in the next years.

You're right. Everyone should have a portfolio with exceptionally good coins. But that's easier said than done. In fact, it is not so easy to collect promising coins.
It is hard to find the promising altcoins nowadays, there are not a lot of good projects for a several reasons mentioned on this thread. Missing chance is better idea rather than randomly guessing which altcoins will go up in a year, in my humble opinion.Bounty campaign is gradually coming to an end, due to long delay of payment and worthless tokens. People are losing interest in bounties, they prefer investing on IEO project than wasting time and resources, to have a small penny at the end.
Yeah, now most of the hunters cannot predict or find out which projects will be pay or worthy because lack of project liquidity. Shitty projects overloaded in the market and those arent pay at the end that's happened actually. Even a lot of hunters are going to left from bounties for disappointment. But i don't think bounty will be never end because without promotion any project can't big success. it just needs exchange to sell new token/coin, and even many IEOs already successfull in Binance
so, that's one of the reason why the bounty would be end. or at least, would be so much decreasing
It has been discussed several times here for buying the promising altcoins before thinking about investing in the useless altcoins. The investment decision should be based on the long term expectations, otherwise, it is gambling on the short term price movements on the crypto market. The losing side of the investors are usually thinking in the short term and they think long term investing is a waste of time.
Charlie Lee as a founder of Litecoin and Vitalik Buterin as the founder of Ethereum projects both sold their holdings at the peak in 2017 bull run. Their unethical behavior was priced in the market right after their dump but the market participants didn't know this fact until they publish this information. As the founder of projects, they have the rights to choose what they going to do with their altcoin holdings.
