litecoin will not lose 2nd place anytime soon. Although the other alts want you to believe it will. The thing is btc and ltc have reached a place where they do not really need to constantly think up new fads to stay above the others or even tread water. The other alts soon sink if they stop coming up with new ideas.

exactly LTC was lucky enough to become the silver to btc gold. It is now linked to BTC and has a lot of mainstream attention. Other good coins who think they can rest on their laurels are wrong. I am big on LTC but i am also into a lot of other alts. I can not spell it out enough to them that they can not sit their waiting to rise to the top. They are still very very reliant on keeping up with the latest fads and need constant development. Wish i had cashed a lot more alts out into btc and ltc. A LOT more. However some other alts will have merit but yes btc and ltc i think are the ones that will see mainstream adoption way before the rest.
where are mec, wdc, digi now?? nowhere. However had they have jumped on the POS, ANON fad wagon they would be right up there near the top again. They could rise to near the top of the alts but again LTC is never going to be under threat because it does the job it needs to do already. It does not have to bow to the whims of alt miners and the alt community. They are a tiny proportion of people, btc and ltc concern themselves with the bigger picture now. No other coins have that luxury atm. Even ripple seems to have bowed out of the race for now.
Scrypt asics will solidify LTC not damage it as others think. Just like sha asics did for BTC. Once you're invested in asics you're invested in crypto, that money never leaves crypto again. gpu mining is not the same.
Something radical could always come out that is so different from what we have then it could do what others have not been able to. Guess we have to wait and see.
Litecoin is the only coin other than Bitcoin to actually develop its own infrastructure and support its own coin with its own hardware.

As i bought most of my nxt at January I was infinitely scammed by initial stakeholders!

You can't deny $250,000 theft right now from leader of NXT.
Shows what type of people they are, and reinforces their launch was a scam designed to make a few whales infinitely rich of a non-liquid non-trading fake market cap that is on paper only.
Try selling your NXT and see the profit vanish because the market does not demand them.

But I own a lot of scam coin ipo coin NXT I bought at 7 cents and if it goes to $1 im rich, so if I bad mouth litecoin that could happen.
