Block explorer has been down for days.... and it's the official block explorer. Can we get another explorer up and running? Where has whywefight gone? I know he usually keeps tabs on the explorer.
i didn't why it down , the block explorer is not stable or server not stable ,i think this is a big problem will hurt vivo trustment

Update on the exchanges
As previously promised VIVO will be listed on much better exchanges, following up on NovaExchange's closure.
We took the final decision as of right now. We are now actively working to get VIVO on Livecoin and Cryptopia!
We are working to make the listings happen as soon as possible! You have to be a little patient, as Cryptopia's listing requires buying 2.500.000 of their own DOT coins. They don't accept btc. And that will take a bit of time to grind out and accumulate. But we'll get it done and hopefully we'll have the Cryptopia listing within a couple of weeks, up to a month.

NovaExchange has just announced they are closing down within one year.
VIVO will be listed on much better exchanges. This news about Nova closure only speeds up Vivo's listing in a popular, stable and safe exchange. We are analyzing the available options thoroughly and the best decision and course of action will be made very shortly.
We have submitted Vivo to Yobit & Bittrex a month ago and we have not received an update on these two exchanges yet. Cryptopia is a very controversial exchange as of recently with highly unethical concerns & scandals, we would rather not support it at this moment and at this price. The current waiting time to get listed on Cryptopia is up to 4 weeks right now, after the payment of their supersized high fee.
My main objective right now is adding VIVO to Livecoin. Livecoin is a great, reputable, secure & stable digital currency exchange with 4 times more trading volume Cryptopia and 9 times more than NovaExchange.
All good exchanges are on the horizon for Vivo. We are looking into all the popular and stable exchanges, from Binance to Bittrex, Livecoin, etc. Feel free to post your suggestions as well. Another recently launched great app is the Masternode App, created by a fellow Vivo community member. The Masternode App has just been published on Google Play Store.

From my knowledge there is no specific email notification script for Masternodes as of yet. It would be a good idea, there should be interest in taking it on.

Yes, you can run multiple masternodes on the same wallet by using the recommended cold wallet setup.

Fixed this by updating wallet, any changes in this new wallet that can cause these chain splits @Dev?
No. The update only adjusted the difficulty retargeting to every block from block 15200. It has passed a long time ago.

Apparently there is some form of chainsplit which causes a few MNs to drop off due to being on the wrong chain. Let's hope this sorts itself out or the devs can get us an update.
One of the pools was on the wrong chain and it was being mined. They sorted it out by simply restarting and resyncing.
Not all masternodes have been affected. In case your block height doesn't correspond to the explorer (check with ./vivo-cli getinfo): Restart your masternode wallet with -reindex.
1, Stop MN (,/vivo-cli stop).
2. Clear stored data. (delete the contents of "blocks" and "chainstate" folders)
3. Restart MN (./vivod -daemon -reindex)
On linux wallet....where do i find the /blocks /chainstate folders?

Resync & reindex and you will be good. Before restarting the MN, you can delete the contents of the "/blocks" and "/chainstate" folders to manually clear the stored data.

Quick News: VIVO has been submitted to Yobit exchange earlier this week.
We have noticed last week that NovaExchange has been stormed with DDos attacks again and they have disabled registrations again. Last time this has happenned, we were quick to act despite being in the middle of releasing an update, and VIVO was listed on Coinsmarkets as a backup secondary exchange. This week coinsmarkets also went down and they are nearly back up now according to their website. As a result, VIVO has been submitted to Yobit Exchange. I know many people have love-hate opinions on Yobit, for people who dislike it feel free to keep trading on Nova.
This will help new interested buyers who need an exchange that will allow them to sign up and trade VIVO. Having a decent sized exchange that uninterruptedly accepts new member registrations for people to buy VIVO is important, and we can't rely on Nova to constantly disable registrations unannounced for prolonged periods of time. VIVO is expected to be listed on Yobit in a few days!

That's infact the correct version -the version # will be corrected in the next release
Given the confusion, I would suggest to the Vivo team that a "0.12.1.7b-..." release with just the change to the version number might be advisable, unless a "0.12.1.8-..." release is imminent.
The wallets have been updated a while ago on github with the accurate version number. The wallet update isn't mandatory. Everyone running the latest 0.12.1.6-dirty version are also all good, they are using the correct version.
