Re: [Article] Dark Side of Airdrops - Not SEC Compliant
by

on 08/06/2018, 05:38:16 UTC
I divide the airdrops into three kinds.
1. Tokens appear on your wallet and you don't do anything specifically for this. Certain conditions must be fulfilled. For example, if you have a certain coin, then you get an airdrop. Sometimes this is quite useful. So I accidentally got game tokens for one online game.
2. Filling out forms to participate in the airdrop. Basically, in good projects, registration ends up instantly. And shit tokens you will never even get.
3. Distribution of airdrop to investors or potential investors. This is the most profitable in my opinion.

Re: Effect of Crypto in FIFA world cup .

I've met somewhere that topic, I can not find a link, about creating Ether contracts for betting on the FIFA World Cup 2018. The idea was that everything is transparent. You see how many people bet on a certain contract with certain conditions (victory, defeat, number of goals, etc.). If the terms of the contract are fulfilled, the money is automatically divided between the winners and sent to their purses. I'm not very keen on stakes, but the idea seemed pretty interesting to me.

Re: coin is meaningless

No, and no again. The low price of a coin is not an excuse to buy. A low price can be important only if you own insider data and future manipulations are known to you.
The main factor for investing in a cheap token is the project itself. Don't put money in shitcoin. With them, there are even greater falls. You think that this is the bottom and you can buy, but if the project has no future, then the price may fall even more and in general it is delisted from the exchange.

Re: What are you still afraid of?

Fear is part of the instinct of self-preservation. As you know, reasonable fears prolong the life of nerve cells. And fear without reason, on the contrary, makes your life makes unbearable. Perhaps the most famous fear is "Fear of losing control." It is the most common when investing.
You can not influence the situation, you can not explain the price volatility in the market. This is normal. You are afraid that you are an ordinary person with normal mentality and instincts.

Re: What spaces can blockchain tech revolutionise in the future?
by

In my opinion, accelerating transactions and secure data storage are two big advantages. In the banking sector, payments are processed until 4 pm and only 5 days a week. And if you transfer money between countries, you can wait and more. With blockchain technologies, you can simply forget about delays in payments up to 5 banking days.
Secure encrypted data storage is very important, as databases are increasingly in the hands of hackers.

Re: Your tokens trading 0.2x in exchange.
by

This is the most difficult question I'm thinking about at least once a month. Since there has been no growth for the past six months, there was no opportunity to sell tokens from "strange" projects. I have my own classification of "strange" projects. These are good ideas and a hardworking team, but the cost is below ICO in three times. I can not explain this, and I can not say it's scammers, not at all. I call such projects "strange." They are in my wallet since I will not return my investments now. Some of the tokens I sell immediately with a small profit since the idea was rather mediocre.

Re: List of my TOP successful ICOs
by

on 07/06/2018, 21:10:42 UTC
From your list I have TheKey in my wallet. I bought immediately after the end of ICO on the exchange. Since then token has become very expensive. Many times I wanted to sell at the top, and then buy at the bottom. But I still didn't dare to sell it, this token is still immovable in my wallet. Smiley
I don't agree with the price that now is. The potential is just huge. This is a working legal project. I believe in it and it's a long investment for me.

Re: Binance wants the crypto bubble to burst!

Binance is very popular and has some influence. Listing in Binance is, in most cases, a price increase, since there are colossal sales volumes. But you have rightly noticed that the last time the leadership of Binance is doing only to them profitable steps. Recently I could not withdraw money within 10 days. And not all tokens that I want to sell or buy are on this exchange.
They certainly have the right to prohibit anything in their territory. But there are a large number of alternative decentralized exchanges.

Re: Best bounty platforms

I didn't know there is any bounty platform. I choose projects very long, I pay attention to bounty managers. Thank you for writing so many different resources.
By the way, even if you don't use these resources to participate, you can just browse through which projects do bounties in general. But basically, one bounty program is fought for 2 or 3 months. Therefore, for me personally, these resources will not be needed often.

Re: best NEO ICOS to invest in

I bought two coins on the NEO platform. This is Zeepin and TheKey. Unfortunately, I could not buy cheap on ICOs. It was just instantaneous.
But I bought tokens later on the exchange. By the way, all Zeepin's holders have received Gala airdrop. Now it is a game currency in one game - CryptoGalaxy. Quite an interesting and colorful beta version.

It was very difficult to get into quarkchain ICO. It was a struggle to survive for 4 months. All who could not buy on ICO now buy.
I think you need to wait for the price correction. Now a very large pump. Watch the news and the price. The project is really good, but try to buy cheaper.

Re: How you divide your wealth between altcoins and bitcoin!
by

on 01/06/2018, 10:06:05 UTC
BTC Allcoation would be : 20%

ALT Allocation would be : 80%

My reasons :

I want to find a unique altcoin that will grow many times after ICO. Something like Ether. This is not easy to do, but I try. Maybe later I will reconsider my portfolio. But for today it looks like this.

Analyze your actions recently. You must understand how this happened. If you don't understand the reason for the hacking then this may happen in the future. Where did you leave your private keys? What sites U registered? Do you use MetaMask?
Look at the wallets of other bounty members, do they have tokens in their purses or have they also disappeared? Was there any tricky contract used to enumerate the tokens?

I read this news. Now everyone is discussing this. If everything is without problems, then this is a big step forward.
I have not figured out how it works yet. And I'm not a corporate customer to try it.
I hope that the testing will be successful and this will be another factor in the growth of market capitalization.

Re: Why stake in bounty instead of token?
by
pearlsome
on 01/06/2018, 09:00:26 UTC
Some bounties are paid immediately in tokens or bitcoin. But basically, they really charge stakes every week. When the bounty ends all stakes are summed. Then the total number of tokens that was allocated to this company will be divided by the total number of stakes.
Thus, it will be counted what is equal to one stake. Then for each participant, the number of stakes will be multiplied by tokens and you will get the total amount.

Re: Luck in cryptoeconomics is a myth?
by
pearlsome
on 31/05/2018, 20:12:59 UTC
I cannot agree with you. I'm not lucky. I'm an ordinary person with a logical mindset and trying to analyze. So, I have a friend. I cannot say that he's stupid, no. He reads a lot about cryptocurrency, he's in some closed communities. Here I will tell you a couple of examples of his experience and you'll see that luck exists.
1. Red flags appeared in one project. All about it quickly learned and sold. He was on the plane, then there were problems with the Internet, a secure connection, in general, he couldn't sell on time. And you know what? The red flags turned out to be rumors and the coin made X3. We sold a cheaper purchase, and he is in luck.
2. One pool collects for participation in one ICO with very good discounts. But my friend had a problem with the computer. For a day the pool was collected and my friend didn't have time to participate. He was very upset. And you know what? This project is traded below the ICOs price three times. Now he understands that he is in luck. Wink

Re: do you get a profit buying ico coins
by

on 31/05/2018, 19:47:48 UTC
I invest in ICOs, if I doubt, then I constantly monitor the coin and try to buy it at the first or second correction, well, or I don't buy if the doubts turn into disappointment. If I analyze all projects and the cost of tokens in three months or six months, then my income exceeds losses.
Without errors, I cannot. Probably there are unique investors who buy only what later grows, but it's not me.

Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??
by
pearlsome
on 30/05/2018, 18:19:50 UTC
I somehow heard the expression I liked it.
"Bitcoin as weathercock shows the direction to everyone else."
There are some exceptions. Sometimes the project launches the main network or the finished project. The price of this altcoin can grow strongly despite the drop Bitcoin or Ethereum. But basically, all the prices in the market depend on the bitcoin indicators.

Re: Should I invest in ICO? How much?
by
pearlsome
on 30/05/2018, 18:09:56 UTC
I in many respects agree with you. In the cryptocurrency market, I don't understand one thing.
- the price of the token rarely depends on the successful development of the project.
This is nonsense, but it's true. Some kind of rumor or some loud statement on the social network can become a pump or a sharp fall. But the performance of the team with various innovations in the project may not affect the price at all. That was always not clear to me.
News - "The coin will be listed on Binance" - oh, the price soars and a week later falls lower than it was.
News - "The team entered into a partnership with X to increase security" - the price does not fluctuate, and sometimes even falls.
There is no explanation for this.

Re: Do you look at ICO ratings from the rating of the ICO website when you invest?
by
pearlsome
on 30/05/2018, 17:22:43 UTC
Yes, certainly. I view all the ratings to which I have access. I consult with friends who also invest in cryptocurrency. I listen to any opinions. Bad and good. Of course, the final decision is made only by myself. But before making a decision I like to study the opinions of others.
However, there are very confident dudes who don't listen to anything around. They themselves know how best. (I have such a friend, yes.)
