binance is good and popular nowadays. but i wouldnt say it is the best exchange. because all centralized exchanges are very risky for traders. anyway we have to use it. decide what you want to buy and check from coinmarketcap which exchanges are listing it and register the one with biggest volume with this altcoin.

Me too, holding a lot of different coins and hoping that all of them are rising, anyway I got all of them from bounty and I believe the project are developing so let see about the end of this year.

I don't really trade much anymore, I used to margin as it was fun but polo boned me one to many times and I don't trust Bitfinex and Kraken is in USD only and won't take my CC casue I'm not in the right country apparently. So all I usually do now is get BTC and buy XMR with it and try to hit the lows. I use polo until they demand KYC (I'm small potatoes) and Binance now and am looking forward to their decentralized Exchange.

It is not quite that soon and in that time much can change. but it's also the time will fly by. Just consider that this year things change dramatically for the better.

I barely read the white paper, and if you don't want to waste time reading what you're reading, it's best to focus on the white paper you're really interested in. Otherwise you might invest in a cheater, ICO.

yes i still believe to them i always do my research to exclude those scam but as of now i havent see any scam and i think the new ICO are the serious ones so i am kinda happy but the number of them is kinda low

I'm only consistent on XMR and ETH. Both are altcoins that i've known for longtime. S,o from every movement in market i am never worry. They are altcoins that promise for my investment.

Patience is the main thing that I learned while holding some coins. Some of them I sold too early but I don't regret as there are still many good coins. Don't blindly follow FUDs that people spreading. If tech/devs are good just be patient.

I'm kinda getting sick and tired of people comparing eth and bitcoin when they really have not that much in common and can perfectly exist next to each other. You know eth's got 5 times as much coins as bitcoin, right? So it needs about 20% of bitcoins price to 'beat' bitcoin in terms of marketcap, which says absolutely zero about the intrinsic value of a coin (look at ripple). Also, bitcoin is a currency and a way to store value (like gold), whereas eth is a platform designed for smart contracts and business building.

When I was only working as a "self-employed traider", I was buying like every new coin without much thinking. And it doesn't work at all. You got to think and analyze a lot.

It really depends on the coin, I think you had the coins even after they have established their goals and objectives. Coins that are growing will pretty much go to the moon, and I have had so much regret by not holding those coins. Try to study the coin's functions first before doing a long term investment.

If i have that amount of bitcoin then i will covert the half into our local money and hold the remaining half because i have my own personal needs that differ from others, so if that is really a question on what you should do of your 12 btc then seriously my answers is its all up to you since we are all have different purpose and needs of financial aspects.

Agree, we have to find the potential about the coin while investing in the ICO. Always we have to find good altcoin which will give good return in long term because without giving any profits, it is not good investing into it.
