When I was a kid I always define a success with lots of money and owning a huge company. As time goes by, I realize that being successfull is not about having fancy material in my life, well maybe it more of a reward of your hardworking but for me my real success will be making my family happy.
There are many ways to make a person happy and to upbeat his mood but it is also depend on what level of sadness they are experiencing. One reason that people aren't happy is because other people choose to unthrust people, they consider almost all of the strangers as a bad person even if they didn't know the real personality of a person so includes judgemental. And most of the time people have no contentment of what they have.
If you are not Filipino, you have no right to talk about the Philippines! F**k you Murica and EU!

I live in the country. Yes there's a lot of stunning locations but most of us locals never get to see it unless we leave near those. I only get to see the beaches on TV. Being poor in a third world country sucks.
The climate is something I'm not fond of, too hot and humid for my taste. Well, at least in the lowlands, the country is surrounded by water that it would be surprising if it's not humid.
People, yeah we're mostly nice to tourists. It would also depend on the area. A lot of the people are not really exposed to certain ideas (they call atheists Satanists for example, and also we call blacks Negro so that might offend the unprepared) so if you're planning to stay for an extended period, you may have to watch out for touchy topic.
But then again, we'll probably just nod politely whatever you may say.

This is exactly right. Yeah, we have a lot of tourist spot, whether in land or water and under water, caves etc. And the Hospitality of people never change especially if you're tourist especially foreigners.
I have watched a movie where his message sticks in my mind and that is my motto in my life. "Happiness is real when shared". That is his message to the world or to anyone that will look up in his life. That is a great message coming from him. And that movie is Into the Wild. Who watched that movie? It is the story of Christopher McCandless life that he chooses to live in his own and changed his name to Alexander Supertramp. I believe that his message is for the world and people. People must spread happiness to make good things happen. I don't know if this is an off-topic thread but I know, if anyone can read his message and apply it, the world can change.
I haven't watched the movie into the woods yet, But I've watched Hector and the search for happiness, Its also a good movie. Hector is a Psychiatrist but he doesn't know what is happiness so he can't help his patients to be fully treated. Even his personal Life he is not happy. Thrn he search for it. He travel, and appreciate try every little things, and please watch the rest so I won't be spoiling you. But you're right, happiness is real when shared. Being happy is not when you're listening to music, watching comedy movies etc because after that you'll feel the same again, It may change your mood for a while you will still feel the same way after. I believe the real happiness is can be found by heart not by huge smiles.
I don't have gun because I strongly disagree of letting people have gun. I think gun is just another way of overpowering other poeple to treat them un-equally. Maybe, everybody deserve a defensive tools or etc but I don't think having gun is best Idea.
If I ever I be having a gun, I think it will stay inside my house and I will not bring it in-other places to avoid misundertanding because some people feel threatened when they saw a gun to another people. However, for as long as people use it properly without harming other people life -especially with no reason of killing- then It will be alright.

We, the people should save the planet because it is our duty and responsiblity to protect our only home. We have to re-think on how we use things and what things are good for mother earth. If we didn't protect the earth today, the other generation would suffer for the bad thing that we've done. Good thing now a days, science keep on doing some research and making some project that are environment friendly they doing their part hopefully everyone of us do their jobs also to protect our planet even in the most simple way like segregating garbages, re-useable, recyclable etc.
Not only adults have problems, even youth grows tired and weary. What do you think their problems that they are facing?
Teenagers biggest problem is attention from their parents who will guide them for what is right and wrong. Some youth are don't want to share their problems with their parents because they think that their parents won't understand, Also some parent are too busy on their job just to give better future for their child, but misunderstood by youth. Having some family time will make stronger bond. Sharing meals together and talking about how was their day. For me, it is all about family problem such as broken family.
I think, I'am also among the blessed ones because I have friends that who is always there for me, support and trust me in life either good or bad. And I'm grateful having them in my life. I'm just kinda hoping that they are also grateful having me in their life.
When I'm in a bad mood. I usually don't talk about it to anyone. I always choose to be alone and to recall the things that I have done. But most of the time I want to go out alone to have a walk, and when I'm tired of walking I want to eat. That is why I'm always keeping extra money so whenever I feel I'm not in good mood, I can go out and eat. And that changes my mood somehow even a little bit.
I don't think that passing an examinations is the measure of knowledge, for me, we were all born different means you may not be intelligent at some point/subject/profession etc but there is something that is made for you that you might excell.
