Wow! Good to see Fullzero back.
Also heads up to DamNmad on Discord.
I managed to write the image over SSH, however it doesn't seem to work on NVME ssds.

then why did u even post rant away bruh lol

I'll rant if you want one.

This forum is full of bad generalizations about noobs not doing research and building rigs on debt.

I did a ton of research and built a rig with cash I can afford to lose.

Marvell1 in your first post you sound like a bloke trying to convince everyone he's doing great when the real story is you f'd up and sold $3.8m worth of ETH to pay a months rent.

I'm not selling a single thing I mine unless it's totally life changing, because I don't need to hit ROI, I don't need passive income.

It's a long-odds wager on a jackpot and anything short of that is simply not why I'm here.

Noob out.
I agree with the Go big or go home part.
ROI calculations are often wrong as the landscape is ever changing. Noobs gonna learn it the hard way and most of them will call it quit.

Very nice updates in v0016 fullzero.  Smiley

Other than that, manual GPUFANSPEED doesn't work on my z270-a prime/evga 1080 Ti sc black.

Lxde would be a much lighter GUI than Unity.

I mine skein or equihash with 6x1080 Ti on Asus Prime Z270-A rigs.
Maybe I'll try 7 or 8 gpus at some point.

Can you give us any number about the power usage?
I just ordered a few 1080ti and I would like to dimension the PSU
Minimum 150-160w per card. I don't remember the power usage at the wall as I did measurements with different numbers of cards.
You might want a bigger PSU as skein is sometimes worth running at 180-200w per card.

In oneBash, the power limits should be variables.
As previously said, putting at least oneBash script on github would make modifications easy to follow and we could propose diffs.

@fullzero

I haven't had time to play much with it yet, will report later.

- I added DGB to onebash (ccminer -a skein). I don't know if the OC works (fan speed is not fixed even if defined), if need to launch instances, or if SPccminer is slow, I get a higher hashrate with this ccminer version for now (https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer).
Could you add this miner or the fastest skein version (alexis maybe)? And the DGB coin option.
You might want to look into skein for your Nv  Wink

- You might want to launch onebash inside a screen to monitor it remotely.
and a ssh server (disabled by default)

- Maybe Enable automatic security updates

- I got a module error trying to upgrade (kernel)
- I will try to put it on SSD as upgrading is slow

@bentcrypto
Did you get the best results for skein with Alexis?
Do you mine DGB directly with it?

Thanks for your work.
Would the ASUS Z270-F GAMING image work for Asus - PRIME Z270-A?
Or is it possible to have a walkthrough on how to build an image?
I haven't received them yet, can test next week.
