There´s a lot of people that received double payment, there´s gonna be a lot of people that does not gonna receive their payment  Sad

Yes, there have been cases where double payments happened. It's not our fault, the transaction was sent just once, the ETH network processed it twice.

This doesn't mean someone is not going to receive their bounty because of this. We pulled funds to cover for this from the authors reserve fund, as everyone can see.

Please lets keep speculations away.

Also, since I've seen a couple more:
"I use a yahoo email address, there is problem with yahoo emails". - Not true.
"I use dash - in email address, there is a problem with dashes" - Not true
"I am from Vietnam/Nigeria, they blocked these countries" - Not true.

PS: We've also receive dozens of email threatening to post negative reviews in here if we don't pay them tokens in exchange; from people who didn't even participated to the bounty campaign. Needles to say we refused.

Thank you

Wait...
Now we're back to "Not everyone gets their tokens"?
Because you wrote EVERYONE with less than 3 accounts per IP will get it.
And that was supposed to be final.

It would have meant I and all of my referrals qualify (most got in without referrals by themselves). But so far none of them received tokens (34 out of 65 who actually replied).

Ok....

Not sure I understand what we are back at, nothing has changed.

Payments have/will be made if there are no more than 3 registrations from the IP you registered with.

Dear... Peter how are things going with the exchange process... It would really put investors at ease... To know   are currently working on it... I invested 0.8eth

Pls do not ignore my post

Hi,
Things are good, there is no problem.

We've updated 2 exchanges already and explained the situation and been told there is no problem, that bounty campaigns are always somewhat of mess for all ICOs. As long as we distributed the tokens to all investors there is nothing to worry about.

There will be a calm down period of about 1 week than we'll hear the exact date when we'll be listed.

There is also a second smaller exchange that contacted us and mentioned we are free to list the moment we want, just have to pay their listing fee and will be up in 5 days from that moment.

We'll wait one week for everything to calm down and submit our applications; as soon we do this we'll update on our blog.

PS: investor questions please email investors@authorship.com , our contact address is filled with where/why/how bounty questions.

Thank you

Trying to keep the criticism constructive.

So, dear Authorship, for your next ICO (you will need it after this disaster) a few hints, if you want to run a bounty program:

  • use a professional referral/affiliate software or 3rd party provider. People have been weeding out fake sign-ups for over a decade. They know how to do it. You obviously did not.
  • Make up your mind. Do not keep changing the rules. Pisses people off, and rightfully so.
  • If you want to discriminate against whole countries, VPN users, the TOR community, etc. -  say so, upfront. Be aware that you would kick Kim Dotcom, Julian Assange, Ed Snowden and probably every digital nomad living in Bali (or Paraguay, like me) as well. Dumb.
  • If you want to work for the world, learn how the world works... E.g. there are whole countries where 90% of users are behind forced proxies.
  • As I wrote in my earlier endorsement for this ICO: the biggest challenge will be to make blockchain usable and painless for people outside the blockchain nerd community. We do not need another nerd circle jerk. You allegedly wanted readers and authors from the real world. But now you scold, blame and insult every 'normal' person who just thought 10 bucks for an email address would be interesting. How many potential users and publishers were among them?

I still think that the basic idea behind Authorship.com is great.
Re-gaining trust and countering all the bad press all over the web will be hard.
If there was/is an honest project behind this ICO, I wish you luck to fix the mess...

Thank you for the advice. It is fully noted.

In the future we'll probably use private funding as we initially intended for this project. This is how we always worked before, with private funding. This was our first meeting with ICOs and the community here, so you can say it was a trial and error and we used to rely on a lot of advice we received here. Not trying to find excuses, just pointing that there are always 2 sides of a story. I realize our mistakes and once again I apologize for this.

Our project development continues as this was our reason of raising funds. I'm positive that this entire situation will be long forgotten once everyone sees us and running and with thousands of authors selling the books through our platform.

Thank you

Peter, can you not disregard my messages?

thank you

I am sorry, I cannot answer questions like "will I be paid/when will I be paid/why I am not being paid".

We have almost finished the tokens distributions to all participants that had no more than 3 registrations from the same IP.

Regards

Peter you need to provide a way for users to know if they are awaiting tokens or have been disqualified, I have messaged you multiple times with no avail

Please inform me as to my status

Email: 802529@protonmail.com

ETH : 0x59F9D4C004aB4F13d74940fFC1EdcA08B76915Cd

The longer users wait without knowing their status the longer this thread will get

We will have an update in an hour or two as we complete the distribution. It's safe to consider that everyone who didn't receive in the next 2 hours the tokens has been disqualified.

Update:

Close to 90% of the bounty promoters that qualified (no more than 3 registrations from the same IP) have been paid.

The remaining payments will be processed tomorrow as there is an increased of double spend transactions in the last hour, so we'll be pausing things for today.

Thank you,
Peter
peterauthorship i'm not a crook, it's just insulting that someone gets double repayments and others like me nothing.

It's nothing personal. As mentioned, if there are no more than 3 registrations from your IP, you will receive the tokens.

ahh ... omg are you telling me that if my referal have 3 referrals from one IP  im suspended ? i got lost here ?

It has nothing to do with referrals. If more than 3 people registered from the same IP as yours the account is suspended.

BTW the question is legit - the token sale has ended, and so far the token is not listed on any of the major exchanges (another 'unlucky' wording on the Authorship site, I am sure).

On the website I found
Quote
ATS tokens will be listed on cryptocurrency exchanges soon after the ICO is over (14th Sept).
"soon" can even be in a few weeks. And nothing about "major", but maybe I am just in the wrong place on the website.

Feel free to contact Bittrex and ask for THEIR confirmation, have them confirm if we already approached them for almost a month ago and provided them with all the info they asked us for. Also ask them if we have verified accounts there, as this is their requirement as well. They will answer YES to them all, as we did.

Thank you,
Peter

No need to make eyes, you know their problem now, right? They made math how many tokens they need to send to investor to make 100M

there will be only 1M left for bounty

Let's think.. double transactions... hm.. they f up and there is possibility not everyone get paid

why do you think the narrowed it to 3 per ip registrations for bounty?? because of  waste double transactions, short of tokens

On the contrary. We took tokens from our reserved 20M fund which was destined for authors once the platform is launched. As you can see, that account now only has 19M instead of 20M.

There's no conspiracy theory here.

I thought that everyone who got "congratulations" after dilling the form will receive its coins. Am I right ?

That was before we applied the 3 registrations per IP rule. As much as we want to believe 100 coworkers all joined from the same IP, we simply cannot.

check the last transaction of 3,825 Cheesy

maybe the whole mess in this thread leads to false (double) transactions
now it seems to be really chaotic
let's wait for peters answer for this

man thats not good.. I've seen a few of these now, someone got 19k twice.. Thats alot of money.

We tried to explain this is happening, everyone called us scammer and didn't believe us. The transaction was sent just ONCE. This is what happens when mass transactions are being sent, nothing we can do about. We'll pay everyone who qualifies to make everyone happy (about 90% of the payments were already sent). Not sure how sending more tokens to cheaters will help the value of the tokens for honest promoters, since they will only do one thing: dump them, but, we do what you want us to do. Hopefully by tomorrow all the payments will be processed and we can close this chapter.

Peter

Snodo, it's a misunderstanding. The poster who pointed out the number of accounts and transactions was incorrect. But there has been atleast a few users who have gotten their bounty paid twice (large amounts too)

As I mentioned, this is how the ETH network behaves when one sends large amounts of payments at once. Some transactions will jump from peer to peer, will show on etherscan as "transaction not found" since it wasn't propagated through the entire network, even for a day, then pop all of a sudden out of nowhere. Meanwhile, we know we made that payment, yet it's showing nowhere. So what do we do when people say they didn't received it? We have nothing else to do but resend the payment, just to see that the next day the lost transaction suddenly appears.

Peter would like to know why I was suspended http://bounty.authorship.com/ref/e8108330/

Had plenty of ATS then out of nowhere I can't withdraw anymore, why?

The form is still available in case you need to change the ETH address you have on file: http://authorship.com/withdraw/

If there are no more than 3 registrations from your IP, you'll receive the tokens these days.

What is this? Your address just got 1M tokens. Is that so you can pay out the rest of them?Huh
Still waiting...

Well since you guys want to pay cheaters as well, we pay cheaters as well. Right?

Peter.  You're representing a company now, understand?  Why is it that you continue to let the opinions of a few people change the outcome, and future, of your entire company?

I apologize, from this moment on I won't reply any such comments; just genuine questions.
