Yes, I received confirmation, that this is PPID that does not match between BIOS data and label on card.

Weirdest thing is that one gpu went through warranty and another one did not. I asked for clarification what exactly is wrong with my bios and when ill receive this card I will check if I have confused something.

Which mining os for vega rig? I have trouble getting stable my hiveos vega rig I can not set mem voltage on hiveos. I dont know how to launch amdmemtweak on startup on hiveos. looking for other options. Or should I get back on Windows?

I had 10 asus RX580 cards. And of course all the bioses where modified and flashed for known reason.

Cards where fine, not the best, not worst, just fans started to fail soon. So I RMAed them all one by one. At the beginning I received new cards in place but later I made mistake, flashed wrong bios and warranty was voided. So I know why.  Recently I sent again 2 cards to same service center and this time i flashed exactly same BIOS file I had from one of the cards saved before. And I had warranty voided for both cards again.

So - do they really have a proof that bios was modified or are they playing me? Are they storing SN in bios or is there some kind of checksum that changes if BIOS has been rewritten? There is chance that I have been mistaken and I saved BIOS from card that I have been modified before OR... All cards came in 2 batches, maybe BIOS files where a little different for each batch.

But, to avoid that I have been just trolled and they can not actually proof bios reflash case - what are my chances? I have actually asked to service center to show me some kind of log file of some kind of software which they might use in case to check bios reflash event. Waiting for answer.

is 7% rejected shares considered to be normal? I have 7x1080ti rig with overclock that usually works fine on other miners. temps are low. oc should be fine. mem -500. Tho internet is really bad - farm is on 4g net probably heavily loaded.  I have meesages like share sent to late or something like that. is there way to check why there are such rejected shares? I am mining on hiveos, latest version.
and stuill with those 7% rejected shares poolside shows better hashrate than bminer.

Grin Gold Miner afaik. Using on hiveos on my 12x rx580 8gb cards with samsung mem. same oc settings as for mining xmr. 1.7-1.8 per card. 20 hs on whole rig. 1250w from wall.

Feel so stupid by not checking amount of coins mined in 24h. After week realized I am having like half of what I should get for my hashrate. And don't give me that bullshit "calculators are giving estimate"! I know!!! For same hashrate on supportxmr pool mining same algo XMR I am having 98-99% from what mining calculators show. I trusted CryptoKnight pool and got owned by them MY income was 2-3x worse that I should have!

Preparing for next mining profit wave after year or two.

Have this error all the time. Is it messing with my hashrate?
I dont want to block anything. I am mining on nanopool with hiveos. Can we fix this? For me it seems that miner trys to connect to dev pool all the time therefore is messing with hashrate. It is fluctuating from 6 to 11mhs one rig.

edit: Also same errors at same time on Windows rig with vega. With the hashrate also power consumption is also fluctuating for all rigs mining monero at same time.

7x vega 56 reference cards rig. 1408/875 1100/875

16+16 just hangs at launch
16+15 starts to work, but restarts rig after few minutes
16+14 works, but restarts rig after 30 mins or so. which never happend with other miners.14.3khs 1250w from wall
14+14 gives a little lower hashrate, but seems to be stable, also zero lost shares. 14.1khs  1250w from wall

dont try! this is old miner and is very buggy. it has not been updated like half a year

yes it does more. like 20-30. those tests are very lazy.

monero v8 made some instability to my vega rig so i lovered intensity from 120 to 100. Little less hasharate, but it is stable for few days.
12800 h/s on 7x vega 56 rig
1100w
1800-1850 hs on per card.

teamredminer has new version. and more than a month has passed sicne teamred was introduced, but only descent amd lyra2z and phi2 miner in existance and simpleminingos doesnt add it. i am waiting all the time for this miner os smos, because somehow smos is more stable on few of my rigs. but ill stick with hive os i guess
