Working config for scrypt/nscrypt/x11/x13/x14/x15/keccak/nist5/qubit algos on 3x 290X (shaders 2816) rig on CGWatcher 1.4.1, W7x64 CCC 14.7RC
updated with badman74's advice on temperature targets; overclocks with lower intensities to avoid driver failures; removed redundant settings, globally specified "gpu-threads" : "2", and removed redundant gpu-threads settings on relevant profiles; disabled ULPS in MSI AB; enabled unofficial overclocking without PowerPlay support in MSI AB; substituted 65KB groestl.cl in place of 67KB groestl.cl; #define SPH_LUFFA_PARALLEL 1 in darkcoin-mod.cl, marucoin-mod.cl, x14.cl, bitblock.cl; #include "aes_helper.cl" in darkcoin-mod.cl; dropped worksize to 64 like bullus; recalibrated speedfactors for nicehash password field.

This may throw some cards SICK very fast/frequently; please report back with results, and CGWatcher should have your back on SICKs.

what version of the miner is this? preferably compiled for windows if you can mate.

thanks!

Still dont get it how this would help...

with the memclock dropping to 150 instead of whatever you have set it at, every time you attempt to mine a coin, it spikes up, causing it to run at the speed you set for that duration. problem with this is that it creates a delay and ultimately slows down your hashrate from what it could potentially be. proof is in the pudding to be honest. i tuned my 290x up to 1200/1500 for a few mins to see the hashrate (don't expect it to be stable because i haven't modded voltages) and it hit 3.8MH on x13 and stayed there until my system froze. it just helps.

(anything i say is just what i see happening from my POV, if it is inaccurate then apologies. same result in the end though!)

why no auto exchange on bluechip? ruining figures entirely. also, there is no point mining the most profitable coin if it isn't still the most profitable by the time you get around to exchanging it! (which for those of us who have jobs as well as mining rigs, can be quite some time!)

we allready knew about this one, but sadly my cards for some reason refuse to go as low as 150-200mhz for memory.
is there some bios version that allows you to reduce you clocks so low ?

there isn't one, but you could mod your own bios to do it using a bios editor (they exist, but as i haven't tried any myself i can't recommend one). why would you want your clocks so low?

Phate
Pretty sure they miss understood the solution and/or the problem to begin with.

sounds about right. lemmie chuck you a screenshot of my current miner (x13 mining with 2 x 290x)...

can up my intensity more, but diminishing returns and all that...

back up!

EDIT: from the way the front end of the website is behaving, it loks as if it is being MDDOSed. intermittent downtime of server combined with the occasional message of too many connections to database.

Hi devs. been mining with you for a couple of days and have already grabbed around 100mh from friends pointed at you. great pool is all i can say really!

couple of things though...

1. my miner went offline (on purpose) to test the notification settings and i received a text and email (which is good) but then i carried on receiving them once eery 5 minutes until i fixed the issue. i don't think that any more than once per offline instance is required.
2. missing x13 from a lot of places, such as top hashrate and block finder. also dashboard doesn't display balances of x13 coins on left as it does with others.
3. I second the call to put the btc/mh/day on the dashboard!

Cheers

Phate

my apologies, i haven't seen this before and it wasn't meant to offend in any way. I figured this out entirely on my own and thought i'd help people.

from what i read there, it fixed the memory downtuning but there was no mention of it helping to stabilise memory overclock or even allow the use of higher intensities so at least I can contribute that myself.

i found a stunning little gem that works for my cards and quite a few others too.

If you ever watch you memclock drop down to 150 when mining x11/x13 then this will help you increase your GPU's hashrate.

go grab MSI AfterBurner to start off with and then open up the settings.
look down to where it says unofficial overclocking mode and set that to "without powerplay support". allow MSI AB to restart and then run your miner.

your hashrate will be higher than it was before!

I have also noticed that i can now run at higher intensities producing more hash without it falling over.
Have had a report from someone stating this allowed them to get their memclock to 1500 stable where they couldn't before.

I hope that this helps people to get the most out of their cards!

edit: starscream found this solution before I did, i was unaware of this.

this now switches and uses the correct algorithm, but does not change any of the gpu settings such as intensity or engine. any ideas?

EDIT: it will change the intensity and gpu engine if you use the "pool-gpu-engine" and "pool-intensity" paramters instead of "gpu-engine" and "intesnity". does not set the intensity correctly when opening (sets it to Cool unless you switch to another pool and then switch back. setmemclock error listed, but i have my memory set to the same speed for all anyway so i shouldn't need that. after a couple of minutes the miner shuts down and displays a summary of works.

did pool just go down or is it just the front end?  I cant get to the website..

has been fine for me, next time, check http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ for site up/down info.

@kenshirothefist, a question on config... do you prefer if the option for "--no-submit-stale" is used or not. I am unsure whether to allow my miner to submit stale shares as i know the hash power could very well be going to a multipool which encourages use of submitting stale shares as they may still be accepted.

thanks in advance for your response!
