I will buy them if your interested.

I have a freelance website http://PhilipK.ca - same as my user name here.
& Established twitter account at PhilipK_ca

That isn't necessarily what you were asking for but does prove that this is not a fake username account. It is connected to my real person.

BitCoin on local server with Mac OSX
by

Has anyone used BitCoin on local server to interact with PHP?

I'm trying to follow the official instructions but can't seem to locate the file called "bitcoind"

I'm just looking for someone to confirm or refute that this file is not part of the mac build.

Yes its the official build.

As for hosting your probably right.

'Hosting - Web - Deluxe - Linux - 1 year (recurring)'

I still want to know what service I need to run Bitcoin on server. I have had good luck calling them in the past for upgrades.

Using "bitcoin-v0.3.23".

I have Grid Hosting with GoDaddy. Its suppost to let you run Rails Apps which isn't standard with the lower end hosting.

Assuming I have a hosting service that will let me run a process. Do I just upload a folder and run a script?

I will make another thread titled "How to Use BitCoin on local server with Mac OSX".

But in this thread lets move on. If I can't play around with BitCoin on my local server what about installing it on my live server?

I use GoDaddy Embarrassed and usually only interact via FTP & MySQL.

I have looked in all bitcoin related folders. As well as a system wide search for "bitcoind".

It doesn't exist on the computer.

On a Mac.

Doesn't seem to be a 'bitcoind' file anywhere on my computer. Have tried running the app and don't see any options or switches to do with server interaction.

Any ideas?

Anyone think this is going to cause some kind of rally?

People withdrawing coins from other exchanges causing the price to increase, or simply causing more mainstream investors to buy?

Hey I like this but think it has more potential for selling items.

You could see what classifieds are online in your country & then have user ratings to create a trust system.

Ya some of the Labs are 24 hour access.

So I don't know how closely they monitor the system. If anyone walked by it would look like I was working late. Which is what I would be doing....

Looks good will for sure be using your search to find more entries.

Not so sure about the plugin.

The Search's goal is to get as many sites as possible.

I'm hoping to have a small amount of sites 50-200 but only high quality(or unique) BitCoins sites. That way new BitCoin users could come to the site and get a guided tour of the best of the BitCoin World.

I have seen some cool Gambling sites on this forum for sure will be adding a games section including https://www.thebitcoinwheel.com .

have seen some other great games with BitCoins but unfortunately wasn't recording them. Might have to dig up some of my history.

Working on a BitCoin Directory.

Just bought domain and set up a quick version for now.

http://coincanyon.com

Looking to keep the layout but have multiple categories.

So far I'm thinking ... Financial | Goods | Services | Community | Gambling

Please feel free to make any suggestions about the Categories and more importantly... Suggest sites.. your favourite BitCoin sites, your own sites, anything BitCoin.

Thanks!
