In other news, I've finally received shipping confirmation of direct-from-BA order #8xx (paid mid-November) which is an X1.

I hope to have voltage control implemented, anyone have some news about this
There is some limited software voltage control through SSH, but only allowing you to step down the voltage, not increase it.
By default, device starts mining. No pools are configured, but it mines. Possibly "benchmark" mode - speed is higher than you get in reality, but who knows really? I can't get a terminal session to look at the configuration directly, log in is not the same as for the web interface.

Just email MS support and ask for them,they would be good to have even if you don't put them now but if you ever want to sell them just pop them in.

I do have my X-1 up and running. So I als MS about the LCD for it. Here's the answere:
We expect to receive the LCDs for the X1s in the next 2-3 weeks. We have noted that you would like to receive one when they arrive. It will be shipped to you free of charge, though with the cheapest shipping method unless you would like to pay for faster shipping. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

And what about mounting them by ourselves, wouldn't this void the guarantee (there is that seal/sticker)?
it depends on where you are on the shipping list,the X-1s being build now were to have LCDs but I would wait and get your miner first then ask for it if needed otherwise you may be waiting even longer for your miner. putting it in should be easy,warranty?,not sure but shouldn't void it,your fixing their mistake for them.

Pai il tin minte pentru ca a mai aparut pe ici pe colo si a spus cam aceleasi tampenii, iar cumva-cumva a devenit pentru presa un fel de autoritate in domeniu.
Vad ca recent a "intors armele"...de unde inainte spurca Bitcoinul pe unde apuca, acum e un soi de sustinator.
In mod normal te uiti la el (si pentru ca tu nu esti analist economic) inclini sa-l crezi (stie omul ce spune).
Dar cand mai stii si tu un lucru-doua despre subiectul in sine descoperi ca de fapt croieste teorii economice pe baze prost intelese aruncand termeni tehnici la intamplare, "ce din coadă au să sune".
Cred ca sta in fata oglinzii, se uita la el dintr-o parte, rotunjeste buzele si zice: seerveer...seeerveeer...doamne, ce destept sunt...
Iar daca spune atatea tampenii cu atata siguranta de sine (are omul bloguri si aparitii la TV) incepi sa te indoiesti si de cunostiintele lui economice si te intrebi, oare cati habarnisti d-astia tupeisti sunt pe sus, pe la conducere ?
Pentru ca pare un fel de constanta, cu cat esti mai prost, cu atat esti mai fudul si dornic de afirmare.

Da, asta e exact tipul ala de care-ti ziceam mai demult, Martok88. Vad ca si-a facut site-ul lui. probabil ca s-a saturat s-o tot ia de la inceput (Bitmit, Coingig etc).
Problema e ca la pretul asta nu mai prea mai ma trage sa cumpar cu BTC, am tot cautat Portal 2 (a aparut pe SteamOS) si pana la urma l-am luat tot de pe Ebay
