I'm sorry to say,  but this will be about as much help as your post:

What OS is installed?  need to know that to help in the slightest.

/wave Tycho!

How's deepbit doing these days?  It's been over a year since I've done any significant mining,  but whenever I do,  I STILL point at deepbit.

Glad to see it's still around!  always preferred it for some reason!

Nice and sunny day here in Winnipeg (in Canada!)

on the one hand,  I miss the rain.  on the other hand:

not overly interested in that getting much higher.

Re: Error sending PMs ("You are not allowed to send personal messages.")

Glad I stumbled across this.

as one of the many "long time readers, first time writers"  I was trying to make a significant contribution to a forum,  but was instead forced to spend a few minutes searching for a reply button only to not find one.

The PM restriction is Dumb IMHO:  (wanted to send a PM to ask why I had no reply button.  Didn't think "for some reason,  I must have agreed not to post/PM people when I signed up BACK IN 2011")

The post limit,  on a 2+ year old account is a pain in the behind.    But such is life I guess.  Spam is spam!

Sweet Jesus.

It'd be worth your while finding the guy and getting them back or offering a bounty of half your recovered coins to someone? Heck, why not create a thread and offer that bounty here. I'm sure someone looking for up to 3000BTC would be happy to do it.

We have tried that offering significantly more than 50% (for either Trendon Shavers or Sam J Theofanopoulos). No-one bites. If you are interested I'm 100% certain we can come to an arrangement.

Finding him is probably the easiest part.

Getting the Bitcoins out of him legally might be more difficult.

They have both been found. We know for certain Hashking (Sam) still owns a lot of Bitcoins (he recently sold all the HW that was collateral for our loans on the forum under an alias). His data is:

Personal Information:

RESIDENCE:

SAM THEOFANOPOULOS
9344 W VALLEY FARM DR
FRANKFORT, IL 60423-6505

BUSINESS:

Real People Realty / South & West Suburbs (More)
Sam Theofanopoulos
7262 W Benton Dr
Frankfort, IL 60423

 815-469-7449
 708-822-4450 cell phone

If you cannot find Pirate you should learn to use the search function Smiley

why don't you guys pay him a visit?

i don't see whats holding you back.

i would hunt him down for far less.

Don't forget to take your $5 wrench Wink
