But I'm not sure if you got the right idea (or I'm just a complete noob..), but I'm trying to run this from my linux (xUbuntu) machine not from my windows machine.
Is there another way to run cgminer without using the .exe file on linux?

)Download WinRAR from http://www.rarlabs.com first. Then download one of the TAR files. It will open with WinRAR then you can open the EXE files inside them.
You must have some eyesight issues, there's no .exe file in there, it's the source.
You have to PM the creator of cgminer or make a post in the cgminer thread asking for it.

I was trying to download cgminer 3.7.2 from this link: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/3.7/.
But it doesn't include cgminer.exe. Now I tried downloading it on Windows 7, 8.1 and xUbuntu, but in all systems it doens't show. I tried shutting down the AV on windows 7 but even then it didn't appear.
Could anyone help me with this?
