This is very interesting! I am wondering how exactly ZeroMQ is implemented in Sneak.
We use the Majordomo Protocol pattern with load balancing.
You don't see many coins using a DAG nowadays unless it's a simple rehash.

I wonder what that would mean for a smart contract like system.
We will be implementing a smart contract later as an option.
There's a lot of potential in using ZeroMQ. If you had the underlying structures involved you could develop a way for any and all communications made between applications so that they take advantage of ZeroMQ to ensure the privacy of those communications.
This is on the cards and the Majordomo Protocol pattern will make this tangible but needs some thought.
