I think that Bitcoin is the savior for Venezuelans as they face hyperinflation. With hyperinflation reaching new levels, cryptocurrencies are really coming in handy for the residents of the South American nation. Data from LocalBitcoins shows Bitcoin is the savior for Venezuelans during these trying times.Venezuela has also been an ideal country for mining Bitcoin due to the availability of cheap electricity and this is an opportunity the residents have jumped at without second thoughts.

In fact, in parts of Asia, Bitcoin is already being accepted as payment for utilities. Consumers are able to pay their gas, water and electric bills digitally and directly using Bitcoin, without having to convert into local currency. In Japan, consumers can buy electronics with Bitcoin at the largest electronics stores in the country. Even in the US, some local shops are starting to pop up where Bitcoin is accepted as valid payment.Therefor, bitcoins are increasingly accepted as a popular payment medium in the world

Future of cryptocurrency: Will cryptocurrency replace national currency?
Despite these negative aspects, there is still great potential for cryptocurrencies to flourish, and murmurs are already being heard of its potential to replace national currencies one day. This is the opinion of Google’s top-rated futurist Thomas Frey, who predicted that, by 2030, cryptocurrency will have a significant impact as a medium of exchange.

SCC is the all-purpose coin when it comes to staking, masternode hosting, exchange and mining.
The coin supports various functions in the in-house POS pool with over 20 different coins and various shared masternodes and private masternodes. SCC brings new ideas that other projects have never had. I believe in the active and active operation of the dev team.
I will join!

ICO is a risky investment channel but also profitable.
But.ICO this time is a lot different from 2017. ICO projects are no longer attractive to investors, because when the token is listed on the floor is /2, /3, /5...
In addition, have many many ICO projects are created with the intent to deceive many users. You need to be careful to select potential ICOs and have practical applications.

Re: What do you think about Bytecoin?

Indeed it worth more than 200 millions USD, so high. The fact is hundreds of billion coins are emitted. BCN combines the following advantages: ring signature (anonymity, safety), fast transfers (2 minutes) and very low fees (0.1 BCN!). The problem is the local wallet was a bad choice for mainstream users. The release of the web wallet may improve the popularity of this coin. It is also important that the development team follows its roadmap

Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal?
by

on 27/10/2018, 12:19:14 UTC
I think this is very unlikely. PAYPAL has a large number of users, safe and legitimate.
And The main reason you’ll probably lose less money through PayPal is because your funds are only converted once. For example, dollars are immediately converted to euros.
With bitcoins, your funds are converted twice. In other words, you have to convert dollars to bitcoins and then convert bitcoins to euros. If you want to use bitcoins, take a good look at the exchange rate you’re getting — it could make a bitcoin transfer cheaper than using PayPal.

Re: The economic function of Bitcoin
by

The economic functions of the bitcoin network causes it to behave like a central bank. This has a few effects: bitcoins (the payment unit) behave like stock due to the fixed, known supply of units being subject to open market operations. What happens when the market price of bitcoin changes is the velocity of bitcoin falls into disequilibrium until a new equilibrium is found.

Re: [ANN] [POW] [XHV] Haven Protocol - untraceable payments x stable value storage

WHAT IS Haven protocol?
Haven is an untraceable cryptocurrency with a mix of standard market pricing and stable fiat value storage without an unsustainable peg or asset backing. It achieves this with a built in on-chain smart contract that controls the minting and burning of coins in a network of cryptographically unknown supply to facilitate value for users that choose to send their coins to offshore storage contracts while allowing everyone else to be exposed to the natural price movements of the currency.
