Before I go to list my HTC One X on swappa or ebay I figured I would ask how much BTC someone would buy It for, it is the AT&T model but I will be selling it with the carrier unlock code I got from AT&T earlier today (It will prompt you to enter this when you insert a non-at&t sim card). Its been in a case pretty much since I took it out of the box, there are no visible scratches on the screen (I don't know if there are any, but they are way to small to see if their is). I have the original box, charger, and some manuals.

I may sell It for BTC, but I figured how much I would ask how much people would pay for it before putting it up for offers.

Hi everyone, Im getting into mining coins part time. Im currently mining litecoin in a pool at 587 kh/s, my GPU is the MSI 7970 Twin Frozr III (newegg page here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127732). I recently went and visited the litecoin hardware page and I saw that people with the 7970 were reaching upwards of 700 kh/s. I am just using the guiminer preset for my 7970, so I know I could tweak it to work better. But since I don't really know what all the options mean, or what would be the best for my hardware I hoped you guys could help me. I have the latest AMD drivers installed, the card is not OC'ed or modified in any way.

Do you think one of you could help me get the best performance out of my card? It would be greatly appreciated and I can send you some altcoins if you help .

Lets face it, when ASICs get in the hands of more people, the question of wither or not you should start mining bitcoins will be out of the question, it will be way to difficult to mine.

So my question is, what coins should I and other people start looking at for mining? If i were to purchase an ASIC, would it work with other SHA-256 coins? Would it be a better idea to get into GPU mining of other scrypt coins? How will the (huge) rise in bitcoin difficulty effect altcoins?

I'll leave this up to debate with the community, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

So far 7 blocks mined and 0 orphans, cool I got 39 orphans on Xencoin (pooled, none orphaned on solo) I'll mine through most of the night and see how far I get

on my one 7970 i get about 587 kh/s - 600 kh/s. So im wondering if this would be a good idea? :? Im mining Xencoin right now (solo) for the fun of it. I've found 2 blocks.

Well, now that I finally got a card I can mine with (x1 7970) I came back here to see what coin I should mine and..... now that the instructions for making your own coin are out.... ALTCOINS are EVERYWHERE!! (so yah, sorry for asking :3). But my original question still remained, whats the best coin to start mining at this point? BBQcoin looks promising, or maby feathercoin? Advice is appreciated. Again i have one 7970.
