Actually this really looks like facebook for now, the differences are its decentralized and it will have a marketplace.Lets see what will it be when they are ready to develop new features.

A decentralized Facebook is completely different from a centralized Facebook. Decentralizing Facebook means empowering the individual while a centralized Facebook empowers the corporation behind it and puts the individual at a massive disadvantage. I wonder why people aren't seeing the value and potential in Sphere Social platform. The team has a lot planned out for the project. I'm afraid the poor funding might hamper the progress of the project. The team would need huge funds for marketing if they want to be of interest to users of existing social networks. Anybody knows If the project will continue regardless of how much is raised?
They have reached softcap already, so yes, project will definitely continue . But you're right, they need a lot of money for marketing and the less funds the slower the building of a huge user base which is essential for the success of the project.
I totally agree! Marketing and social media appearance are very important for the future of something new. And of course a good marketing is expansive too.

Its not bad if there is no censor, offensive ratings are acceptable as long as theyre not fake and backed by facts.I totally agree with you. Nowadays good manners and appropriate communication are really huge topics and should not be underestimated.

Common sense tells you what is acceptable and what is not. No exaggeration, only a normal form of communication.
i hope that they make a live stream of the conference or a short summary explaining us, what they have achieved there.
Am looking forward to this and hopefully we'll see some partnerships with all this conferences they're attending. The project still define get the attention as the idea is executable and a great team behind it.

I don't remember reading it but an internal exchange is almost necessary I guess, if I want to watch a movie and I'm out of tokens I want to able to fill up my wallet on the platform

When does their tokens list on exchange? And what exchange are they listed on?

You'll most likely be able to buy on ForkDelta as soon as the tokens have been distributed. I expect it to be after the ICO as well.
Just after ico, forkdelta mostly offers the cheapest prices nowadays. Too many weak hands and very bad market right now.
Still it is not a sure thing.
Usually bounty hunters dump their tokens and crash the value of token so forkdelta shouldn't be used as a indicator for ICOs.

How are the whitepaper translations going? I am very interested in reading the whitepaper in my native language.
By the way, it would be nice to read a whitepaper in its own language. In-depth to understand the scientific part of the project. Since this is the basis of the entire platform.
I would agree with that idea for as long as the translation is quite good and comprehensible. Anyway, I still prefer WP written in English rather than on my own native language.

Yes if the marketing continue to increase the visibility will increase. I also see that there is a lot of people here who find the project really interesting. I think REPU can become a very popular project.

jep the project is still definitive under the radar, and we have a chance to invest with a huge bonus. 
They got a 4.9 rating at ICObench which will attract a lot of new investors. I think we should be fast if we want to invest with a big bonus.Robotics is every nerds wet dream...so am not surprised. We need to spread the news even more.
I hope they themselves start spreading the news soon and start with their marketing/PR campaign. The logos of all these media sites on their website are still empty...

Time will come that people will soon realize that Sphere will be a better alternative to Facebook. It just needs a critical mass following and everything will fall into place.
Not sure about the soon but yes, someday people will have to realize that the Facebook era is over.
I have a great confidence that sphere will be better than facebook in the future. It just need a regular innovations after the platform works.
If they integrate a forum system that will be great, also to be better than facebook they need to provide facilities facebook does not have

They won`t get near netflix if your talking about movies and funding films, one movie alone if your into sci-fi will set you back into 13million usd just to produce one, your best option is monthly subscription rather than pay what you want.
You are right. Netflix is the "brand leader" in this part. But so far there was no significant competitor.

cool idea - sphere's social network will let users create groups to share interests, create campaigns.
