Re: Faster blocks as an alternative to big blocks?
by
pjmis
on 12/12/2017, 17:22:12 UTC
From my prospective we have a few choices here, we increase the block size of BTC. Might work, but than we face other issues.

Or implement lighting speed transactions for smaller amounts, etc. Amazon transactions or going to a store. Which would be a smaller amount of fees, which is being done. The solution to our problem.

If we do faster blocks, we face a lot more issues compared to increasing the block size.

only scammers ask for upfront payment. nobody in his right mind will pay you anything upfront. and i doubt that even someone will lock his funds with an escrow for less than the duration of the deal- 1 year. makes no sense to me

I will provide full details, where it is located and the uptime of the contract. For you saying I am a scammer? Most sites like, bitcoin.com and various other sites only do a year contract or more. Which is all upfront payments.

This is a great deal for the first buyer and I'll be posting more contracts here. If you are not interested. Don't buy the contract, but please do not call me a scammer without proof.

Thank you.

I saw controller from antminer S . it looks pretty similar.

And antminer s9 whit s7 firmware could it work ?.

No need to over complicate things, buy what is listed as "recommended". And wow, you have a lot of negative trust on this site lol.

Mining Equipment Temp Ranges
by
pjmis
on 04/12/2017, 15:53:51 UTC
Hello, I know mining hardware needs to be in a chilly area due to the heat they put out. But what would be the optimal temp in a room than the machines opitmal temp?

If someone has the hardware running at 50C to 63C with a ac unit blowing into the end where the machine pulls in cold air. Would this be optimal for half a year? A customer is thinking about doing this, but idk :/

If you have ever seen a stunt performed. Usually an annoncer would say, "Don't attempt this at home, the stunt is performed by a highly trained professional". Cause some kids would jump off a roof in a shopping cart? No one knows why kids would, but the stunt devil who first performed it succesfully could not get sued over it. Same thing with investing, only attempt it at your own risk.

Id say one good way to achieve that goal is to hold a cryptocurrency. Id say, BCH, ETH, BTC. Dash? Take a look at the market. If you see a up and down type of graph right now. Wait till it hits a down, slap buy. But remember this before you do. Go back to a month, alright. For you can see how it is moving. If that cryptocurrency is up down, kinda like a real bumpy a$$ hill. But it does contain value. You most likely will not reach your goal. But if the chart is a sweet hill with a minor bump. Seeing returns like crazy. Thats a hold, but dont let the market fool you. Mix hold, with buy low sell high for your beginner strategy. This is the best way I can explain a holding strategy over text.

But if you are a genious investor. You can prob double that money by short term day trading. For example. Youll be squeezing few dollars up to twenty from cryptocurrency every few minutes. How its done is. Market looks stable at 5 buy 4 sell. Okay, keep on eye on those damn buy orders or you'll lose pennies than dollars. Squeeze in on a up than sell when sell orders hit 5/5 ratio. Once the chart hits a 5/6 or 5/7 ratio. Shes going down. Get out seconds before by a smartely placed stop order. You just made $3 in a minute. Rinse and repeat. But dont do this cause I gurantee I could not fully explaim this strategy over text. Id need to show it over a hour long video. But yes guys it is possible to make thousand by the end of the month. But this wont carry a lot of weight. Itd just be slow with $150. What some do is buy 1 of the coin and apply advanced day trading strategies. I hear some pop $5 or more a minute.

Hope this helped.

Currently in talks with Ivy, did you order go smoothly?

Yes, everything is perfect! Delivers quickly, just gotta worry about the import tax on the declared amount. At least I did here in Canada.
Did you have any issues with customs? Just got a notification from Fedex that it's stuck without a commercial invoice.

Mine had a commercial invoice. So, I had to pay an extra $103.50 per box. Might be inside the box? Id call Fedex. The only thing I can say is they allowed me to pay cash on delivery and Fedex got it through customs for me because I called them minutes after Fedex had a import problem. If you are not in Canada, this might be different for you.

Get on it quick, might be a possibility Fedex can receive the missing paperwork. But the longer it waits one might run into a issue of it being returned, not sure on those details tho. But Id Google Fedex Customer support. See what happened, if its the case write down a fax number or somewhere to send missing paperwork to get it cleared. Contact Ivy, ask her to fax or send the missing paperwork. Usually they would be able to. Once customs has the paperwork they should clear it through. Than you might run into import tax, so its safe to say have more than a hundred somewhere to pay for the box. Credit card works, or they did cash on delivery for me here in Canada. Just a couple of thoughts. Hoped it helped.

In the blockchain field therere lots of scam projects. Among them its very difficult to choose something really good. So decided to enter the proven Mining Now project http://miningnow.online/, moreover, theres information that the tokens of this project will soon increase a lot cause of the interest of large investors.

Is this minable?

Anyway, I still think it is a few individuals or many who were rocking the boat by buying large, than dumping. About three days ago I started seeing this across the currencies on my exchange.

Almost All Cyrpto Currencies Are Down At The Moment
by

BTC dropped. BCH dropped, ETH dropped. Here is my theory on this guys.

There is a few individuals on the live exchanges at the moment who are profit chasing by 20 dollars. For example. Loads of people will buy up to $10,000, soon as it hits $10,000 or a specific set number. You will see a massive number of sell rather than buy, but some will be still buying. Is it the new hedge fund guys getting in on it?

Re: How to sell BCH for Canadian Dollar?
by
pjmis
on 30/11/2017, 04:55:05 UTC
I have no personal trades with this exchanger but upon analysing their price details, I am feeling doubt about the website you have shared.
First thing is that the price of bitcoin is $10600 according to current market rate and there is an extensive gap of price with them.
If you notice, this website is currently selling a bitcoin at  $14938, which obviously bitcoin had never reached this price level so far

How would one sell BCH, BTC for cad? From personal buyers or through exchanges? I need some guidance, thank you for your time.
