Hey All,
One of my two miners are up and hashing. Here is what I've observed so far.
1. FANS:
These things are LOUD. I have 8 dragon miners in the same space, and the 1 AMT miner is louder, but let me explain this. The fans on this thing are ridiculous. There are 3 large fans mounted on the top, and you can feel the air from across the room. These are VERY effective at moving the heat out of my miner. Certainly does a better job of cooling compared to the dragons. Its as if they stuck a box fan in front of the miner, and directed it through the miner.
2. Speed:
This miner hashes as it should. On BTCGuild, I'm seeing about 1.27th. I haven't had a chance to test the miner for a long period of time because I got it today, but I'll update later. Seems to be running fine.

I took the miners side door off to see what's inside, and it seems like it is the same setup as the dragon miners, but with 5 modules instead of 4. the controller board that hooks everything together looks nicer than the dragons, and I like how the raspberry pi is mounted on the same side as the psu connector.

Seems like all of the modules were pretty cramped so they needed to bend the psu connector a bit. Didn't affect anything, but a little bit troubling:

AMT- feel free to use the images for whatever you find necessary.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I am eagerly awaiting my second miner.
And I know that there are going to be "why did you accept a package for a $1,200 miner that cost $6,000," My answer to that is receiving something now is better than nothing. Please don't argue with me as I am simply here to show off the miners and offer the help that I can.
Thanks,
mdiggy
Order #1275

Thank you for the pictures. We will be happy to hear back from you with more impressions of our the miners.

AMT, our order is #1266 we also ordered the 1.2 miner, is there any specific reason we have not received our miner or any contact yet while this individual has received his with a higher order number?

AMT,

We have been trying to contact you for a long time. Will there be any response to our email/phone calls? Would we be able to switch our order to cloud mining instead of a miner? We have waited a long time for our order and understand the issues you have been going through, having grown up with a father starting a small business nothing ever works out perfectly and theres always a lot of ass holes out there.

However for us at this point we would rather have the power of GH/s in cloud mining. Situations have changed dramatically and we would prefer cloud hashing over a machine.

Thank you.

I just spoke with one of the workers. Apparently they are having a delay in receiving the chips. Its not their fault companies can't deliver the chips fast enough. But he said we would receive our miner around the first week of March 1. I live about 3 hours away and have a friend who lives in lancaster who drove by, said they are real. Having seen my father start a small business there are a lot of cracks to iron out when first starting. Likely this is what they are experiencing. Also, just because people are positing on here saying they are waiting for shipping doesn't mean there isn't another 10 people who have already received their products. Think about it, most people come onto forums to figure out whats wrong, look to bitch about something, or show off what they have. Sure I am taking a bit of a leap of faith, but I have done enough research to make myself believe it will be a great decision.

I know many of you may see my account and think I could be some random person from Advanced mining posting in their favor. But here is my story dealing with AMT.

I am new to bit coin and recently have fell in love with it. I did a small experiment mining with my graphics card in my iMac just to see if I would actually mine anything, turns out I actually did. Next thing I began looking into different mining equipment, deciding if Im going to do this to find the fastest hasher I could. I found AMT and their 1.2 TH/s machine, I was ready to go trusting it was a legitimate company then began looking into the details behind the company I became very skeptical and hesitant about wiring $6000 to the company. After reading through this post and doing some research on my own I found AMT is indeed a real company and is just in its beginning. Their products seem to be top of the line and in addition a lot of smart thinking have gone into them from my discussion with their customer service. I must admit at first I was turned off, my friend and I are going in on this machine 50/50 and when he called the sales person was kind of rude to him but it was a friday night and who wants to work on a friday night. I however had a completely different experience when I called in, the individual I spoke to was very nice and we had a great conversation. It really removed a lot of my skepticism but I was still not sure. Following this I remembered the photo of the sign for AMT along with the Mortgage company. I decided to look up the mortgage company and see if they were real, I found it was, and then called them up to see if they had heard of AMT (Since they were supposed to be neighbors) and then see what they had to say about them. TURNS out they ARE REAL, and the individuals opinion said they were nice people.

I feel sorry for the AMT people but I understand why everyone has their doubts. I will see how their miner works when I receive it and let you all know.

Well I just learned about bit coin on christmas, it was a present from my cousin. I called my friend a financial analyst at a bank told him about bit coin and mining, next thing you known were talking about purchasing a miner and the potential to make a bit of cash mining for bit coins. Were still in the process of deterring which miner to purchase, we have talked to some customer service people from AMT, which helped up decide where to purchase our miner. Now we are just seeking extra information to make sure we get the most out of the miner that we are purchasing. We are still trying to decide what to hook our miner up to or how exactly the miner will work. We are ironing out the detail as we speak. We are extremely excited for bit coin and cannot wait to see where it will bring us. We believe that bit coin on a serious future in the world and hope to get at bit coins before it becomes mainstream.
