Re: Please vote for me for moderator of this board
by
player3
on 28/03/2016, 06:01:57 UTC
I've silently watched this for about a week now and it's getting old, so I'll chime in.

Full disclosure- I'm an intermittently active user who knows Mushbuh in real life.

Quote
- Kids know nothing.. FACT.
Uhh... Right. This is a factual statement. Also, adults are consistently beacons of wisdom and mental fortitude.

Quote
- Few people know these guys get paid to delete your comments and it shows a possible motivation.
What other possible motivations could you have?
we don't know who you are (you could be Fodor or Terrik)
or a cop or serial coin cloner or simply one of the usual mass shit coin supporters. (most of you are but hide it)
This raises a number of questions. You're speculating about his motivation, while never backing up your beliefs beyond the claim that you can "feel" his age and degree of competence.

Not only that, but we have no idea why you're so fervently attacking Mush- are you envious of his formidable height?  Also, multiple people have come forward admitting real-life relations, and he has a relatively long history on btctalk and pretty significant web presence- this brings into question your accusation that his identity is uncertain. Further casting doubt on your credibility, we have no idea who you are. You could be Fodor or Terrik.

Quote
- Want to talk about "most mods" on forums?
  Most do NOT get paid.
Are you speaking from experience? Do you realize you're currently responding to a quote about moderator age with an unfounded claim about payment/compensation/benefits/whatever?

Quote
- Shoe fetish aside your side stepping the admission you know a previous Altcoin section MOD IRL.
This reeks of something like nepotism.. having one of Salty's bum buddies made mod too?
Not really interested in reviewing this one, the foul and uncalled-for language speaks for itself.

Quote
- Nothing personal, but i still don't see you providing any tangible explanation for your bid.
instead you seem to have shown me a negative reaction when users have tested you
or tried to joke your way out of situation that is over your head you do not understand.
Nothing personal, but you've essentially written a fable about the big bad mushroom and the sad little satellite. A fable heavily salted with vulgarity and animosity. And what on earth does tangible explanation mean? Do you want Mush to explain his goals and anticipated roles with finger puppets?

If anything you've failed the test as a forum member- his responses have either been suitably lighthearted (banning gifshaming? you think that's for real?) or measured and reasonable (meme spam and repetitive content will take their toll on any forum). It seems that you personally don't care for his responses- which is fine of course, but you could at least go through the effort of articulating them properly, maybe even suggesting an alternate candidate.

Quote
- Building trust like i said?
You simply hopped over my point and had a jab at me or once again simply don't get it.
All you did was say you has some "classic topics" here as your resume and that you "modded before"
My first comment on this topic i said.. i have not seen you comment on this whole entire forum even one time.
In other words if i spell it out super slowly for you all to understand..
You seem to be a complete stranger.
If it was my intention i would have SHOWN activity in this section for a while before spouting off "make me a mod".
This would have built some trust and a track record.
Mush has a long history of classic topics, both as OP and subscriber. You might recall the mace peanuts of late 2011, or the custom potato chip business he briefly operated with SaltySpitoon. If you haven't seen them, you most likely haven't actually looked. Call him a stranger all you want, but anyone can click on "Recent posts by this member" or use the search bar. It seems like you expect Mush to include an entire topic in quotes in his resume- hardly a rational expectation.

I also should not have to explain to people anymore that i have been given bad ratings for dumb reasons.
I don't need to defend myself because i am not the one asking to be a moderator like you but i will anyway Wink
I have only ever gotten a neg rating for criticizing a shitcoin basically.
have you ? I would say my ratings PROVES i have more credibility then cowards that hide & make money off them.
I for example posted a topic about "Monero French Police Fraud"
And the two biggest supporters went on accusing me of lying and both guys negged me..
And they both knew before hand i did nothing but post 2 quotes copied from the mouth of one of their own guys.
So it was not possible for me to lie about anything.. all i did was copy & paste a quote (that was never refuted)
Both smooth & smoothie left me the same copied neg rating explanation..
Later smooth removed his for some reason (no idea why / he did not say why)
So you could l have asked me why or if active enough should have already known.
But more importantly my rating here has nothing to do with your being made a moderator does it?
Once again this sheds more light on you.
Well, if you're ceaselessly throwing shade at someone it seems fair that you might explain yourself. Which, in all fairness, you attempt to do, albeit unsuccessfully. You say your negative rating, and some post about French Fries (which you didn't quote or link to here, I'm aghast!) that people took offense to make you a credible critic. Not only that, but you then say the negative rating that you just claimed as a icon of authenticity has nothing to with Mush's campaign, and by extension nothing you've been saying has anything to do with it either. Bizarre approach, that. "I'm of such ill repute that I'm irrefutable to the point of being irrelevant!"

Quote
I have plenty of experience on the web and i can get a vibe from people a mile away.. i'm rarely wrong.
  I know your type LOL
And your type is NOT moderator material.. but often who DOES end up mod (which causes more problems than fixes)
Actually, Mush doesn't care for League of Legends in the slightest, I suspect your vibe sensing is a little off. Also, your repeated vague anecdotes, also apparently based upon your "vibes," do nothing to further your point.

@OP
Just be glad theymos does not ask my permission for things before he runs his web site Wink
Lucky for you i guess i doubt he gives two shits what i think..
And my comments are LONG you say?
Or maybe your YOUNG and are a part of that younger kid generation that has to speak in Twitter format?
No patience to read?
Make him a moderator LOL
Ugh, those younger kids (<0 years old) and their Twitter. Thank god we have adults writing intelligible, sophisticated prose.

Many people on Twitter do a better job of conveying a message in 140 characters or less than you do with multiple rambling forum posts.

I'm sensing a recurring theme here... Are you a failed writer? Just some bitter egg?

Quote
Quote
memespouting gifshaming will no longer be tolerated if I win
Orly?
Actually you WILL tolerate it because those are NOT rules kid.. read them!
...This was a joke...
...As was the gif itself...

Quote
You have pretended to not get what i said which is why i made my comments so long.
to explain.. THOROUGHLY
Why? Because i knew you would say that. This is player3, just saying penis to see whether or not you're reading.
I also can point out how you quoted me and replied back to ONLY the key points you chose to refute / understand
the rest was well.. Chinese i guess huh?
Perhaps you're just inconsistent and incoherent enough for Mush to reply piecemeal. Which is how you think the Chinese communicate? Not sure I understand...

Quote
See how i have you pegged and predicted what you would say a few times even before you blinked?
I am right.. you are a cliche'd kid cawwing like a crow to be made moderator.. for no good reason.
Actually Mush blinks a lot, especially now that allergy season is coming in.

Not sure you know what a cliche is. Or a crow. Or a kid? I'd say the real OnLine cliche is the anon board member trying to flame a better-known user with no real success.

Quote
Why would i want to be moderated by kids half my age?
Oh! This is just you throwing a tantrum driven by a bizarre schizotypal inferiority complex.

[WTB] MTG Cards: Jushi Apprentice
by
player3
on 21/08/2015, 15:31:06 UTC
I would like to buy... all of your Jushi Apprentices! http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=78686 At the time of this post, they are running for $0.89 USD each ($4.99 for foil) on Star City Games, but I am somewhat flexible on the price. Additionally, as many of you know, different languages tend to be worth a bit more or less, and I have suggested prices below. I can pay in either BTC or LTC, whichever you prefer. I like to use user escrow, but if you trust me (lol) I can pay once I receive the cards.

Requirements:
  • Preferably near mint condition, no less than slightly played. Foils must be near mint!
  • I will accept all printed languages for standard cards, with a strong preference toward English, Japanese, and German.
    • That being said, please do not send me a ton of copies printed in languages I'm less interested in.
  • I will only accept English, Japanese, and German foils.
  • I'll round German and Japanese up to $1.00 ($6.00 for foil), stick with standard prices for English, and pay no more than $0.75 for the rest.
  • I will only accept cards shipped in accordance with these standards (or better): https://pucatrade.com/shipping
  • Speaking of shipping, I live in the US. If you're shipping from outside the US I'll need tracking.

I should add that when I say "all," I really mean something closer to "enough to thoroughly fill the front page of my trade binder." Each sleeve can hold five cards easily, and I currently have five, so I'm looking to get around 40 copies. No more than 9 foils though, I would not want to stack them behind other cards!

Dogecoin/Potcoin trade?
by
player3
on 16/02/2014, 11:15:31 UTC
I'm interested in Potcoin, and have accumulated a fair bit of DOGE that I don't care too much about, but I have little idea what a fair exchange rate would be and I'm hoping to get a better idea of what it is. I do have an estimate of about 12 DOGE to a Potcoin but I'd like to get confirmation/correction on that.

If the numbers are promising (or someone really convinces me that Potcoin will be fairly successful) I'm willing to shed up to 21000 DOGE. Feel free to post offers, I'll PM you if I'm interested, even if you're not going for the whole 21kDOGE.

Cancer is a pain, but fortunately oral cancer has an excellent survival rate.

That being said, bucket list suggestions:

-Play through Tail of the Sun at least once
-Try fugu
-Master 'Careless Whisper' on saxophone
-Master the saxophone
-Roughly 2 parts strong spearmint snowcone, slightly melted: 2 parts cranberry juice: 1 part vodka.
(It's one of those WHY IS THIS GOOD THIS MAKES NO SENSE IT'S GREAT drinks)
-Chill with sloths

Ok, no problem. Not sure it's really cost-effective to send a bag of nuts half way round the world Sad (UK Based)

I suggest simply buying in bulk. From my limited experience with Salty's sister, anything she gives/sells you to eat needs to be eaten in large quantities anyway.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this, once it gets developed further it will be great. So, when you say this is a prototype, do you mean proof-of-concept, pre-alpha, or something else entirely? Will the CHR we've already made carry on into future developments (doing so would help attract more users, especially while mining is so easy!) or will you start fresh after more people take interest?
