The part I highlighted green is almost invisible on the background, it is located at the very bottom over the world map.

DOGE got exposure outside the Bitcoin world, it was many peoples first altcoin who would never have been involved otherwise. Advertising on the crypto websites would do nothing significant for Digibyte, as the people reading it already know about it and have formed their opinion. They'll only be interested in a trading opportunity.

If you really want exposure, Digibyte gaming is the way to go. Create services around gaming and advertise to the gamers who may never have heard of Bitcoin. This is easier said than done and takes time.

How would it be a waste? Jared and team have worked consistently hard, it is really starting to show as more people become aware of Digibyte and consider it a trustworthy and reliable coin. There are price fluctuations, quite wild ones, but that is the same all over crypto. Even the larger market cap coins can pump or dump 25% in a day, look at ripple. Digibyte volume is a lot better than it was a year ago.

I'll say this again, if you are new or inexperienced do some research or get some help with trading. I'm seeing so many people here complaining that the price has dropped xx% and therefore the Digibyte project is a failure. The only failure is from those complaining individuals to manage their money wisely and/or handle their emotions brought about by potential loss. I lost money many times in the past on shitcoins, I used it as a learning experience and it made me a lot better at trading.

You may not like to hear it but the price will likely go lower. I'm not fudding, just drawing on experience and some TA. Digibyte will continue regardless and become one of the most successful survivors.

Unfortunately I think the problem is that they don't have any Digibyte left in their wallet, so will not update to use as an excuse to delay withdrawals. The price difference of most coins on there speaks for itself.

I don't see that as an opportunity, the risk factor is far too high. I stopped trading there months ago as the writing was on the wall. Look at the spreads between cryptsy and other exchanges, it signifies people cannot withdraw btc and are having to buy alts and withdraw. Who knows when the alt wallets will run out? Not me, but I'll not be there to experience it and I suggest anyone trading there significantly reduce their exposure to Cryptsy.


On the topic of price, some new people may be confused as to why its going down, there could be a few reasons:

1. Profit taking from the recent price rise and continuation of the price cycle.
2. Bitcoin in uptrend (this always causes alts to dump)
3. Sell on the news from the hardfork.

40-42 is a strong support level, look back at previous months, if this fails then we will be back to the low 20s (where I will buy more). My personal plan with Digibyte is to keep 10% and not sell for a few years, I kept hold of this 10% I bought at 20S@ in November 2014 through 2 pumps, the rest I actively trade. I bought more at 41-43 s@ and still have unfilled orders sitting there on trex (please fill ).

I would strongly recommend anyone new to do some research on trading as it will help a lot and save you some grey hair. A good book I read on handling your psychology is "The mental game of Poker" by Jared Tendler (Different Jared). Although it's about poker it is transferable to trading.

It was already discussed, this issue is a non-starter, multi algorithm pow is more secure. There is no benefit to Digibyte changing to pos other than a short term pump.

I'm not surprised, the group that pumped dgb were clearly incompetent. Anyone joining groups like this should expect to lose money... also a bit of self respect.

There has been a lot of noise in here which is annoying, but is expected during and after a pump. I used it to my advantage. I'm now waiting for the quiet period...

When i saw the pump, I thought it would steadily rise higher after the initial spike, it really made me laugh to see the manipulators miscalculate the situation.
