I still got the same error I was getting with the 1.8.4 wallet about memory.  It doesn't happen all the time, but it happened the first time I ran the new wallet.

So I should not utilize the TOKEN/NXT exchange on Bter?  It looks available to purchase.

I'm worried that the discussion on this forum has dropped to logos and is not getting much activity at all.  I know there is a lot of work still going on in the back end and think the team is doing a great job, but we have to get more guys involved and more interest generated.

Can we offer anything to JL777's SuperNET?  That has 3x our post volume, and it began about 4 days ago.  If we could get ECC into the SuperNET we would be back in the spotlight.  PLEASE think about it!

First, EXTREMELY appreciative of all the work you've gone on this!!!!!!!!!!!   So great to see you working on this and the exchanges.  

Any idea on the windows wallet?  We missed 1.8.3 and 1.8.4 is delayed now....I'm happy to help financially and labor-wise as long as we can avoid missed commitments.  

I'm heavily committed financially and I have plenty of skill in that arena as an exec in corporate finance.  Feel free to reach out if I can help in any way.

My wish list would be:

1.  Identify a way to elminate the 'holdups' along the sync chain...whether it is "fixing" the block along the way or prescribing a blockchain download to today's block
2.  Shortening the splash screen upon wallet launch.  How is it possible that ECCoin splash screen is 5x-10x longer than bitcoin core or litecoin?

Please understand that I know these are not your problems, they are community problems.....and I want to help.  I just think the best way to help is to look at best-of-breed and to identify what we can change to get there

Goldmaxx, how much do we need in LTC to get the blockchain/ wallet issues fixed?  And what would we need to get the 50% so he can work on it?

It seems there was some confusion yesterday about if there are (and how to fix) sync and blockchain issues.  Did we reach a resolution?  Are we paying a dev to look at it, are we launching a new wallet with new nodes?  Goldmaxx, could you please update on this and the donation status?  I'd be happy to help with the funds as long as there is a clear plan.

I know this has been posted over and over and over so I'll keep it short.  I am looking to personally fund and launch a coin but I want this coin to be actually prepared by launch with direct mining pool and a profit-switching multipool which only pays out in the coin, windows wallet, and a blockchain explorer.  It will mine X13 and be POW before switching to POS. 

I don't want this to be another garbage coin and I want this to move *fast*.  As such, seeking experienced developers who can dedicate themselves to not blending in the mix of broken promises and fad coins.  Bring innovation and commitment, this project will go from initial development to coin launch at a breakneck speed.

I don't but as I've said before I'm happy to invest personal funds as needed.  I can check around elance, freelancer, etc but if anybody has any connections or can reach out to successful coin developers that may be safer.  I'm not sure what the level of talent is out there on freelance websites.

Down to 201 million left in this wallet to dump.  Hopefully that short-sighted fraudster will get out soon and stop crippling our coin.  Host seems to have disappeared; just about time for some new management.

Hate to say it but hostmaster has lost the vision.  I'm getting sick of people asking for donations.  Everybody is in this to make money.  Some short term, some long term.  It worries me when the developer doesn't get any urgency and says he doesn't care about the price.

It seems Host feels that because there is a richlist of people in the community that everything will be fine.  Where else would the coins be?  It's turning into a bunch of bag holders.

What do people think about taking over and re-purposing ECC?   Entry Crypto Coin?  Make it so you can buy it with your credit card and enter the world of crypto?  That's the biggest hurdle to the average person.

I recommend rather than donations people wait for results and make this a bounty.  Far too many missed commitments and expectations set for weeks past.  If this is up today, I propose the community fund a 100-150 million ECC bounty. 

Neo - asking for donations at a time like this is the wrong thing to do.  Donations should be made based on performance and obviously none of us have been pushing the needle in that department, just look at the coin results for proof.  And trying to get local businesses using a coin that is not ready for primetime is bound for failure as well.

Let's compile a list of big-ticket technological items that we can offer a **lucrative** development bounty for rapid completion.  I'm willing to heavily sponsor the bounty pool, but will of course need help.  Ideas:

1.  Advanced multi-pool with lone payout option ECC

2.  Gateway to easily bring fiat currency into ECC   (think coinbase but quicker and for ECC)    What if we made ECC like the entry crypto- currency for people who want to buy in but don't know how?  A website where you can buy ECC directly with a credit card without all the 3-day verification delays and limits, etc?     (This is my favorite and I would offer a HUGE personal bounty for this)

3.  Payment apps like Neo has been asking for so that legitimate businesses can accept it as a payment method

I appreciate that you are passionate about the coin but donations of a coin like ECC aren't going to be worth anything unless the technical work gets done.  I dont want any donations, just to get some skilled people going on this with urgency to finish the multipool and do whatever payment gateway work we need to make this accessible.  Im willing to spend my own money on it and I believe others here are as well.  Im just waiting for hostmaster to respond with his thoughts so we can avoid death by waiting..

I sent hostmaster a PM to see what we can do.  All who have voiced their support today, I'll be in touch either via PM or on here to see what we can do.  My goal is to get the pool running in no more than 48 hours if I have to find devs and start over on my own.
