In long term, we are still at the beginning. It's because of proper profits for mining MOON!

Below is my project of MOONs mined. (except the Apolo special rewards)

Block rewards just halved to 175,000 MOONs per block, and In only 3 months,
It will become 29,531 which is 1/10 of what it was days ago!!
--> This means, if hash power remains at current level, MOON gets precious 10 times more (to achieve via mining) than days ago!!

P.S: I just bought a 0.5 billion more few minutes ago.

Just change it to 26825 so miners don't mine for free for the next 5 days. It still gives everyone another day to prepare.
The hashrate is picking up. We need to make sure everyone gets a fair shot to upgrade before the hard fork.
If we changed now, we'd have to have everyone download another new wallet and pool operators would need to recompile again. Not ideal.
We're committed to 26850 at this point. We'll get there very soon!

People were concerning of the mooncoin wallet sync issues,
so I installed it, and got SYNCED QUICKLY TO BLOCK 26772!

I have a suggestion. Guys, if you support it please speak up!
I was looking into Vertcoin lately. It looks very impressive that they gathered so vital community so quickly. Their coin uses this Scrypt-Adaptive-Nfactor, which happens to be a very powerful hype and attracts a huge crowd of ASIC haters. Their reddit base grew by 600 in just one day and continues to grow at a surprising rate.
I was thinking: as Mooncoin is going to have a hard fork soon anyway, maybe we should consider switching to Scrypt-Adaptive-Nfactor. In this case Mooncoin will be the first coin to adapt the new technology and will attract Vertcoin adepts. Also, Mooncoin will be unique in a way that it combines the hypes from two successful communities (Doge and Vertcoin).
I'm pretty sure, other altcoins are thinking in this way too, we must not stay behind.
What do you think, guys?

First of all, is it possible? If changing the algorism(Scrypt to Scrypt-Jane) without a discontinue of existing blockchain,
Why wouldn't other alt-coins do it? (I'm just wondering atm)
Will existing mooncoin mining pools be able to mine further? (without huge changes?)
It would be awsome if anybody have a clue of this!

It's possible: before height X calculate hash with old function, after height X - calculate hash with new function. The reasons why other altcoins don't do it:
(a) hard forks are very annoying and risky, especially when the coin is already widely adopted
(b) most altcoins don't have devs competent enough to do the change.
Mooncoin is still in its infant stage, we're forced to do a hard fork soon, and we have Deacon who's able to do the change (the complexity of the change is not higher than switching to gravity well). So I think we should consider it.

Mooncoin is a coin for space and science lovers.
they could use dogecoin too couldn't? or bitcoin or litecoin. You can not make coin ant tell "This is for astronauts" . I bet doge have better chance to survive like mooncoin, because people talking about doge. And it is important. Here I just read about buying mooncoin, but why you all mooncoin lovers do not buy another mooncoins? My opinion is, I will not buy this coin at 13-15 satoshi because there is a lot of people ready to dump all coins they bought at 12. So it is not valuable to me. Post here some shops accepting mooncoin and maybe I will start mine it. It is more profitable to buy brand new coins for 1 satoshi like this one for me. I have buy orders at 6 satoshi for mooncoin.. You all praying for mooncoin rise just because you have shitloads of it and want to dump it at first chance.
