I am disappointed that the developers are not interested in directing this topic, I asked to inform how the fees were held, but no one answered.
They are much more active on Telegram. I suggest you direct your questions there for faster replies

We need solid proof that this HDCoin project is actually related to the HD company.
eg HD nz company's executives tweeting about the project, etc.
Or else this is just another cash grab scam because it is obviously relying on somebody else's brand.

With all the ICO's going on, do people really invest in all the ICO's they can hopping one would hit? Is that the game plan for most? Bet on 99 but only needs 1 to make a profit?

I have also confirmed that the LinkedIn profiles are real and that these are not forged accounts.
And for the telegram issue i don't see where you're coming from

I already pointed this out in their telegram channel so many times.
1. Entire team only has telegram profiles
2. CEO has no credentials
3. Not a single roadmap goal met (all overdue)
4. No announcements about missed deadlines and no proposed plan for improvement
5. Immature domain age, which means the project did not go through extensive planning and research (if they're already listing their token)
6. Free cloudflare ssl (commonly seen on cheap scams lol)
Anyway. What now? Could we track down and take action on the scammer? I think so

This is a google form, so Google has user data such as IP, browser fingerprint, device, network. This can be used to track down the scammer

The scammer's twitter account has a location on it. This might be fake, or real, we won't know... but the IP address obtained can help confirm

Hopefully CoinExchange.io is able to confirm the google account that was used to access their support portal for submitting tokens. As well as the IP address and browser fingerprint too.
Other sources like domain register and web host can help identify the scammer and shut them down.
After that, everyone should block transfers from the scammer's eth address, this way scammer will have no profit.
That being said, the damage is already done, so say goodbye to your money lost.
You HAVE to research the project before you invest in it.

Just how many shitcoins have you made over the past 3 years?
Recently I received a telegram message telling me to install a trading bot.
It gave me a shortened url to a google drive (wow so smart) file
The file was an exe.
I downloaded and looked into it and I found out it was another Evrial Malware attempt.
It replaces clipboard btc address with the hacker's address, which is : 183rjEC75XB9zMjRQ3AYMXDbXQx98hAjHQ
Please blacklist the address from your exchanges, sites, shops, etc.
Also, this one for the media: the Evrial malware spreads via very primitive means: primarily just installing the exe. Either from clickbait or as a sideloaded application into an installer.
To test if you have the virus, you can go to any site with a lot of bitcoin addresses and start copy pasting them into text boxes. If all the copy pasted addresses appear the same way, then you have the malware. Simply remove it and test if copy pasting bitcoin addresses works properly and you're good to go.

You could try talking people into reading your post in steemit chat.
You don't necessarily have to be writing on Steemit.
Say you're good at photography, you could share your latest pictures on steemit.
Also about the reputation gaining thing, if you already have a following elsewhere like youtube you could encourage your followers to sign up to steem and follow you.
Commenting on other posts is also one way to engage with the community and earn Steem

I thoroughly went through their team roster and linkedin profiles.
No signs of forged accounts and a lot of them have activity from years ago. The team seems pretty credible to me.
Interestingly.. you'll notice that they don't have a marketing strategist
That might explain the current marketing fiasco
