LOL some of you guys are hilarious. Not saying you are FUDsters and I am not a hard core fan but I will say the utility of PPT is going to be mindblowing. I wonder if we look back in a year who will be right about this project. Im betting everything on Nico and I think I will come out ahead.
I just saw the video reggie posted. My jaw just about hit the floor. Only upset I missed the ICO otherwise I wouuld have gone super heavy into Veri. Bitcoin, dash and all these other shitcoins are garbage. VERI is the first crypto with real world use case maybe weeks out. Amazing Reggie this shit is going to change the world just give it time!

As a holder since pre-sale I can say this is definitely exactly what I was expecting to happen before the end of the year.
The global invoice factoring market is over 3 TRILLION annually. PPT will easily be able to get a few billion I think. Blockchain will revolutionize this industry, and PPT has serious first mover advantage.
I agree with alot of the price predictions that are posted. My personal forecast is $25 by June 2018, but if it is alot sooner then that is great

Your being way too conservative Andreas. People were saying $10 was crazy pre-beta but here we are. If everything goes as planned $100 by next summer easy.

People have to realize that this is the bottom. Somehow byteball survived all the massive dumps during the summer and while price isn't what most people want to see now you gotta realize development is only getting better there are more blackbytes being traded and the whole ecosystem is growing at a good rate. Everytime BTC pumps it sucks the money out of alts. I dont know where byteball will be a year from now or if it will surpass IOTA at somepoint. I just have this gut feeling this is something truly special and will eventually get the attention it deserves (and hopefully goes on a NEO like run If not im willing to ride this project out I could have dumped in Summer during the run up but I think I will stick around.

I felt I had to make this point. I have been using a full wallet for months and the sync has slowed down to a crawl. The latest update tonych posted is incredible the sync has dramatically improved on my SSD and i was able to move my funds to a light wallet so I won't have any future issues with my funds being locked up because of sync issues. Thanks again tony the development is awesome!

I don't know why anyone would not like fair launch POW. To me it is the only way you can launch a trustless decentralised project. If at any stage trust is required it seems then impossible for it to attain trustless decentralised status without a reset. With an annouced ahead of time fair launch POW and a block explorer it is provable that nobody can gain unfair advantage or rather it would be far more difficult and likely detectable.
But i know this is a byteball thread and no POW here so no point to talk about it now I guess.
Best of luck to byteball anyway. Will hold until 1BN cap anway so we'll see.

100% agree with you cryptohunter. A lot of criticism can be said about the distribution method and the airdrops and you should always try and remain objective about crypto projects but with such limited supply of byteballs if tony ends airdrops plus the consistent development its only a matter of time before byteball really takes off. I dont say that as a bagholder but as a believer....look at any amazing project in the cryptospace (monero, eth, btc) it took years before they took off and all of them lost 90% of their value at some point. One thing you can;t question is tony's commitment to trying to improve byteball and the fact that other people are developing cool stuff right now. Will byteball survive in 2019 I don't know but I'm willing to take that gamble to see if it will pay off.
So he mentioned possibly tomorrow we may get a chance to see public beta (limited) of the software? In any case if they can rollout the beta software for the Jamaican Stock Exchange I can't wait to see the fallout of a digital asset exchange. Should be pretty epic and given how it takes time to adopt I would say by late 2018 Veritaseum will be a very big deal.

Can tonych or one of the other byteball devs elaborate on how anonymous/secure blackbytes are compared to monero? Assuming I send over tor with blackbytes being peer to peer is it comparable to monero? I think privacy is a very important thing in the crypto world moving forward especially with how US government overreaches. I think if blackbytes are truly anonymous then they are massively undervalued at the current price levels or its just that no one knows about them in the darknet community.

Can somebody explain to me the current distribution situation?
This was my first Byteball airdrop ever. I linked all of my BTC, it's 5 figures (in dollars) worth of BTC that I linked. I was excited to receive a nice amount for that. But what do I get? Not even $50 bucks worth of Byteball. Are you kidding me? This is it?
What the hell happened? I was expecting much more than that. At what are are further byteballs being distributed then? it will take forever if such small amounts get spread around. Aren't people that get in earlier supposed to benefit more?
I did read that they changed the model for this term and from now on the people that hold Byteball will get much more than the people that link their BTC accounts. Well, doesn't that make the people that linked their BTC already (and got a lot of GBYTE on the past distribution periods) increasingly rich? they are going to get so much GBYTE because they are already holding a ton. Like I said im ok with earlier people getting a bigger reward but it seems unbalanced, right now we are still early and we got so little with this term that it was a bit depressing to see not even 50 bucks worth of GBYTE after I spent an entire day linking all of my BTC addresses worth a lot more..

Not too sound like a hater but its because the BTC holders were getting such a large amount they kept dumping so much they were causing the market to crash. Now I'm not sure if that is the reason tonych pulled back the BTC linkage rewards but at the end of the day can you really complain about a free airdrop?

Guys I understand the frustration but with bitcoin soaring above $3800 its only natural people are going to continue dumping to get btc back until there is a natural correction. The tech of byteball hasnt changed, the distribution is slowed down to prevent massive dumps in the future, and the infrastructure is being built out with merchant program. I understand the panic and FUD and dumping but if you can hang in there long enough to see the tonych vision you will be massively rewarded. This is the most unique and innovative projects in crypto and 2018 is looking really bright. I know I sound stupid since the price is crashing but you gotta think longterm byteball is still a baby give it time to walk first.
I was waiting for weeks to enter the VERI market. Missed the ICO but loaded up what I could afford at these prices which I think are ok. Could go lower who knows? All I know is the upside of this project is too great not to have some VERI.

The majority of you guys saying people should dump byteballs now are missing the point. For those of us here since the beginning we have always known tonych has had the best interests of byteball at heart and hasnt sold off a single GB from his own personal stash. The future of this project depends on widespread adoption and getting byteball out in the real world.
I think the plan is genius about cashback rewards while also reducing bitcoin holders stake since they are the ones continuing to dump and devalue the price of byteball. I support a softer landing in terms of the byte distributions. I was worried that future development was up in the air but after reading over what tony plans to do in terms of real world adoption a lot of you dumpers are gonna be really sorry in a year or so. Byteball to the fuckin moon in 2018!

Factoring is a 2 trillion dollar business worldwide.
Will Populous be taking invoices from all over the world? I heard they have a token backed by the British pound at the moment.
But lets say If they could tap into even one hundredth of 1% of the factoring trade thats 200 million.
And then say half of PPT tokens arent used on the platform.
So say 20 million on the platform.
Thats 12 dollars token right there.
Then when you factor in by backs and my very conservative numbers ... i mean imagine if they tap into 1/10th of 1%

Yeah thats how I understand it Chiraag so much FUD being spread on this project if the team delivers this is going to be the biggest project of this year. Wagerr also burns coins to keep value stable ironically I own wagerr and populous.

Soon 1 byteball = 1 btc
Still a long way to go but I think we will see a new ATH soon at 0.5btc per gb.

I think byteball only has two possible outcomes: either massive selloffs happen and development stalls and byteball settles in at $50-100 as forgotten coin or it moons and hits maybe 0.75 btc/gb or even btc parity and becomes a top 3 crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum and Byteball). Thats my humble opinion.
It makes sense to hedge then. Sell some before the distributions stop and keep the rest. Eitherway, yoy have earned something.
I myself have bought some GB months ago to take advantage of the distribution. I plan to sell only as much as I bought and keep the rest. So in no way have I lost anything
Believe me I have been torn over hedging for the longest. Ultimately I am an optimist and truly believe Byteball could be something special but unlike some other alts this could take a long time to really get big. I'm content with just hodling and see what happens when the dust settles. I'm ok with taking the risk its all upside for me anyway. If I lose it all my life doesnt change much but if it goesto the moon well you know the rest
