Anybody had an issue where the miner stucks after a reboot and doesn't start mining?
Web configuration page is accessible and all the settings are ok, but it doesn't start mining.

I noticed that also (since a couple of updates back) but miner will eventually start mining after a few minutes. If its taking too long, could be your pool setting, try an easy pool just to see if miner can connect, for example the default pool. As for latest firmware 2017-12-22, overclock is possible now and auto-refresh is still not working.

Happy Holidays to all and happy mining.

Ok guys, here is a fw which will solve the hashrate issue with the new shit one. It gives me 36GH@740w 47C 0HW. If this could help (it will), feel free to donate a few satoshis.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mDaiDPDAeBDi12uMD0AgP7aLdxhoYAsJ

This was up on their site for a few hours only, so its official, nov 22

For G19 sub only. This one might not need the boot sd. Enjoy.
Already tried it, I have it too, update gets stuck at 10%. I think the only way to go back is to have dash_r1.0 on sd card.

new firmware is good fixed both my broken miners hashing at 33-35 ghs
Can you tell the sequence (steps) in which you did your update? I might be doing something wrong. Thanks.

Did you put the boot image on the SD card per their instructions? If you're on Mac use applePi Baker to put the OS on to the SD card. Download the firmware on to your computer. After you have both the firmware and the boot image, insert the mini sd card into the device and then upload the firmware at the same time. Once the firmware is done, you can turn off the device to then remove the sd card. turn it back on and put in your pool information to start mining.

1st - I did the web update with the update.bin but that didn't change anything. So...
2nd - did the boot.img update from sd-card. That change for the worst, can't overclock or stay at default setting cos miner will underperform and fan speed went to 90% even temp was stable @ 48c avg.
3rd - I've just tried your method, inserted the sd card + update on web at the same time, when web update finished, miner reboots into sd card, red light, then flashing green light. Waited 2min before turning off miner. Took out sd card. Turn on miner again. Same result. Have to underclock to 1000mhz/14vid to get stable 30.2ghs.

Sent screenshots to Innosilicon, waiting for support. Before this update, I was running @ 1200mhz/10vid/36.5ghs/48c avg/0.025DASH per day. However they said that the new update will increase stability of the miner and such, so I updated and voila... a miner which underperforms. I think this new firmware helped people who had problems in the first place but if you don't have any problem, don't update!

Hope they will issue fix soon or at least give us the possibility to go back to old version, but nope, they took down Dash_r1.0 firmware from their site.

Latest upgrade is bad. Overclocking is reversed. I had to reduce frequency to 1000mhz to get stable 30.2ghs. Default setting of 1100mhz after latest firmware upgrade through sdcard gave 27ghs and 2 boards not hashing fully and heat increase and fan going up to 90%. Bad bad bad.

Plug miner into laptop/computer through ethernet. Follow instructions on the pdf (you can download from their site). Download the upgrade file. Unckeck "keep old settings" if you want manufacturer setting. This will reset everything. Hopefully this will work. Good luck.
No luck. Nothing seems to be working
Is it drawing any power from the wall and how much watt?
It’s drawing about 160watts and its been on for 10minutes
Could be your blades are fried. Are you still able to access the miner @ 192.168.1.254? (if you haven't change the miner default address)

I have same problem with 2 oF my units
it changed password on its own now i not able to login change setting
there no option to keep old setting also reset does not change password

i did firmware update still password incorrect
is there a way to shh in an reset the pw ?

I got 1 of them to hash but with there default mining address i cannot change to mine
and the other is not hashing at all

these miners where working before and glitched out and it change passwords on there own

and i also notice glitches on a few other ones like blank voltage settings your miners wont mine
i was able to fix this but updating software change voltage to auto then reboot miner and change back to manual

I still have 2 broken miners (incorrect password) email them and left support ticket no response yet
on their website says if you forgot you password cannot be reset but by restoring factory setting must be threw paid support

Same for me Sad I dont know what to do...
While you guys wait for tech support (could take a long time), try downloading Dash_R1.0 firmware and flash it through sd-card (download the instructions from their site). You got nothing to lose, as is you will have to send it back anyways. Goodluck!

Yes
Not me, I am using a 1600w oem computer psu. So far no problem, been running @ 1200Mhz stable for 6h now. Temp @ 48c. Ran 16h @ default 1100Mhz, temp @ 45c and was also stable. No glitch, no HW error whatsoever. Fingers crossed! Tongue

That means it’s not gonna work anymore? My $10,000? I’m still be able to access the miner but i can not do any changes to the pool because it keep on saying wrong password even though it is correct and it not hashing.
Yeah sucks, was there any power outage? If nicehash was down, miner should attempt to connect to failover pools since you can still access miner, your ethernet port is still working but its not hashing so most likely your blades are fried. Did you try pressing reset for 10-15sec? Did you attempt to upgrade it again (this will also reset your miner)? Send back the miner if all else fail, it's still under warranty.
I feel you, paying $10K usd and its breaks down is no fun. Best of luck.

Did you do any changes to the network settings? I have mine running on Nicehash with 33.5 Gh @ 690 watts.

At first fire up, did not do anything. Waited 5min and the miner status was still refreshing. So I check the instruction pdf on their website and change the network setting as in the instructions. Still nothing. Even reset and still nothing, I was able to upgrade no problem.
I think your network settings causing the problem. Check your dns1 and dns2 settings. For me, with default settng it was working fine. After couple of minutes i changed network settings with wrong dns1 and dns2 by mistake. Then i changed them to default numbers and its working fine now.
Ok got it to work. Thanks.
What was wrong with the miner?
Miner does not work on a wireless universal repeater setup. Change my network to WISP setup and it works, all default setting. Did you overclock yours? I got 36.5Gh @ 845W (1200Mhz/10VID, 48c, on 110v outlet for now, stable). But on pool side (miningpoolhub) averaging alot more (from 36Gh to 56Gh).
I did not overclock it. I was trying to change the pool address but it keep on saying wrong password even though i didn’t change my password and it is not hashing now. And also i’m not able to reset it. I would appreciate yours inputs

Anyone got their A5? I have and it's not hashing. Miner status keeps refreshing and on pool side nothing. Tried nicehash, miningpoolhub, suprnova and zpool. Even with the default pool, miner status just stuck on refresh. However, the miner is drawing around 750W from the wall. Ethernet is working. Even upgrade the firmware (g19 is my version) according to their recent tweet and still nothing. Sent ticket to them yesterday and waiting for their response. Paid 10K USD and you would expect a machine that will run flawless but nope!

I was wondering if anyone is having same problem as me?

Welkome to Baikal my friend!
Just for fun you should read the thread in my signature.

Yup, sounds familiar to me. Ive once sent alot more than that for a bulk order. But at that time they were on top of the world dominating the x11 market.
They recieved my payment late, a few days late to be exact, issue was on their side. They told me they can not honor the quantity i paid for. But they will try their best and hope i get lucky if they have enough stock.
I told them to go fuk off and just send my funds back. Done. Never will support this company again. Even if they were selling real live unicorns.

Thanks @Tai_Pan, good read.

@Chan8, did they refund you?

How's that a 450$ discount??? We paid 1188.
Sorry, My Quote was 1050$ each and they are selling them now 1399% so atleast a 349$ discount I got from my first Batch and Second Batch Miners.

Sept 14, 2017 - I've ordered for 1st batch 8 units @ $1188USD. Bank wire sealed and sent.
Sept 15, 2017 - Got an email saying...
HI,

Thank you very much for your support and trust on Baikal.

I am sorry to inform you that due to your voucher submitting time, the first batch of Giant X10 are all booked up.

We will delivery your miner at the middle of November in our second batch.(second sale will coming soon)

Thank you for your kind understanding.

best regards.
baikal miner
Sept18, 2017 - They received my money (only $9154.09USD, still trying to figure out what went wrong with Baikal and UOB) but never confirmed until Oct 12,2017.
Oct 12, 2017 - Got this email...
HI,

friend, sorry for delay, We have received your payment, but the actual amount we received is 9154.09 usd
Our offer amount is 9504 usd,Can you check your banking system?

i think maybe your Canadian dollar was converted into Singapore currency and then converted into dollars, which cost extra.

And I just received notice of the company, the first batch has already paid a deposit but not in the first ship list , we have a small number miners of the end of November for you(Just for the clients who already paid the deposit), but the amount is 1399usd.

Could you tell me what you think?

Now they are asking me to pay $1399USD/unit and to some only $1050/unit? Just WOW...

@cuteman - As I understood, we will get the A4+ only after a month of receiving the A5.
@lynewyork - 2 x A5.
