none of the xmr-stak shared here is working  Embarrassed, can you share a tested one please?
What problem do you have? Guys here only share positive results after the Haven fix for our XMR-STAK 2.4.3
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/releases
There will be new release soon because of IPBC and Graft POW changes.

crashing the machine, causing a reboot. I mine the other coins w/o any issue.

Never mined cr + hv, is there a special config?

Using 1932 intensity commonly, I lowered the intensity to 1000 with AMD Vega 64s, no chance.

I totally agree with you on the glorified 'top secret' pnd scheme but not sure about playing contrarian on their signals as there's still lots of fools making their predicitons become real in a matter of seconds.. look at that zen coin which nobody ever gave a hoot about previously.

Who is this "nobody"?  The pump and dumpers?  Newsletter writers?  N00bs?  I agree.  But those of us that knew how to evaluate crypto fundamentals and bought in before the price rise completely disagree with you.

If you ain't willing to do the legwork, then pay Teeka and deal.

With all respect to zen coin, it is still just in a project stage and has no use yet, whereas you have stuff like monero which everyone can (and is) using; the massive price increase of zen was completely due to October PBC and if it wasn't for it would still need time to appreciate in the market.

Monero also recommended by PBC while it's under $1.

Flashed all cards back to original bios....
There's something funny going on with wattman.

I have a 1920 threadripper with 12 cores and hashing with 11 (1 core to keep system responsive)
I have Large Page Supoort Enabled and hash at around 90 per core = ~1000

Wattman settings for the vega56's    945 mem / -30 core  - 20 power
(Got it to mine at 1080 mem once with one card at 1.000 volt mem and it hashed nearly 2000 ?!?! then it crashed after 15 secs.)

if i turn on HBCC it does mines at 900+880 = ~ 1780 per card
Stak settings 1522+1512
The card with the monitor attached is set to 900 mem to keep things stable...

All nice and well , rig is hashing around ~7500 with threadripper and 4 x vega 56's @ ~950 watts.

Point is, when i reboot cards hash @ around 550+550 = 1100. And everything in wattman looks the same.
But for some reason HBCC has changed and doesnt show any  changes  in wattman.
Settings look exactly as before rebooting.

If i adjust the slider , (any way) , it starts hashing @ 900 + 880 again.

So wattman does not correctly set HBCC by itself after reboot, and have to set is for all 4 cards again each time.

i  have 32gb quad channel mem and 70.0000 swap file on fast NVME SSD.

First have to start stak cpu and then stak gpu , otherway around it bugs / hangs...

Any tips and tricks ?

i'm doing 7500 at 650w(all system), 3xV56+1xV64
v56 stable at 1850, can go 1920+ need more voltage, i didnt test again
while v64 at 1970 with lower voltage,
vega truly awesome card

settings please...
very appreciated.

I have 2 PCs with both 2x MSI RX vega 64 8GB both cannot use the blockchain driver, it shows grey artifactes on the whole screen on both PC, a few secunds after claymore miner starts. With only 1 card running there is no problem. Anyone have a fix for this?

Same issue for me. I have 2 Vega 56s with stock BIOS.

1 card works fine with blockchain driver and I get 38 Mhash at 920 mclock. When I use 2 cards 2 I get artifacts on the screen and the system crashes. Also do see that my 2nd cards GPUtach turns green instead of read.

I have three Vega cards at the moment. Two Vega cards work well, as soon as I add the third one, there are gray artifacts after the miner has started and the PC crashes. I am yet to test the non-blockchain driver, though.

You mean the GPU tach turns blue? There is a switch on the back of the card, you can choose between red and blue LEDs. The Vega 64 and 56 cards are identical so I use the LED color to mark them -- e.g. Vega 64 = red LEDs, Vega 56 = blue LEDs.

Very convenient.

Disable the crossfire after adding a new card.
