Having problems with customs (price displayed in BTC only). Customs need to know the real price in USD. How do you get invoice in USD from avalon? Which email should te to in order to get in touch with them? I can fake the invoice, but do not know what amount in USD is next to BTC price. Can anyone help what was the price for 65 Gh/s and 1x 85Gh/s unit withou PSU?

Dan

Can you not show a BTC/USD value at time of order, and a print off of the product page from their website with it's BTC price and pay accordingly?

I hear that there is a photograph of the actual invoice avalon are sending somewhere in the forum but can't find it.
It is for a different than the actual price(i've heard 500$ + 80$ shipping but it was for a 3unit batch2).
To release it from the customs you should show print that you paid the same amount that is on the invoice the customs recieved.
So please someone with 4unit batch3 without PSU ,tell us what was on your invoice when you recieved it.Or any other information regarding this.

Guys... The Humble Double Fine Bundle now accepts BITCOIN!

If Totalbiscuit starts talking about it...  Grin

Wow this is great,HB are highly regarded as innovators in game distribution so i think that the whole game industry will give it a though now.And it looks like coinbase will be considered much more seriously after the high profile funding. This is the first thing i was already using regularly and am able to pay in bitcoins from now on.

Speculations that this lag and ddos attacks are done so someone can sell off easy are unbased.Everyone can just hit a market sell and will be the first on the queue till his coins are all gone. And if he was doing it little by little he would have seen even more bids show up at every price level.Just like now after the lag is somewhat manageable. The problems are orchestrated to induce sells of many people consecutively who fear it might be late after 10min of lag.All this things are done because it is the only way to acquire coins from long term believers (even they have fears) and some miners because most of them don't trade and they might not show their coins ever on an exchange if the trend is up or at least there is no problems. If ten people want to amass 100k coins like the Winklevoss they will not see some of the coins ever show on the orderbook irrespective of the price so they need to give a reason to some people to show them - some kind of fear.It might not be even about what price the investor want to pay, some coins just won't show up if they are not stimulated.

Lag builnding again. This will continue forever, the only way to deal with that is to push the 17 april change now and cancel all "no funds" orders immediately.

During the cooldown orders executed fast because the "no funds" asks couldnt be placed so they weren't recalculated. But they are still there so now they are recalculated after the trading began. That's why the lag is still building.I hope someone is investigating witch accounts place this orders because this will go on forever. The 17 april change is clearly needed although bots from many account will still be able to place many orders to replicate the effect so there should be some kind of limit on the number especialy of small orders witch are clearly suspicious when placed in large quantity.

30 minutes of orders was processed very fast.Clark moody couldnt even display them sequentialy. Then it was showing 11min lag and now no lag.According to my theory the cooldown prevented the small "no funds" asks to to be recalculated for placement so the genuine orders got processed very fast with no problem as was the case during the hectic trading yesterday.

How come the reported lag by all sites is raising if they are on cooldown?
Any thoughts on that?
My theory is that someone has placed many small ask orders without the funds and bids on the road down. When someone sells onto them the asks are recalculated. So this thing will not be over for hours.15min is not enough and they should investigate the suspicious orders.

Has anyone contacted Gox about this issue.Trade engie bug or manipulation clearly something's wrong and they should have a statement.Nobody can beleve this is a coincidence of too intensive trading as the prevous explanations.

I was hoping for comment from eleuthria about this.It left me with the same taste as the mybitcoin saga and i mined for month in the Guild and still am.I tough this is the easyest way to mine some I0coins without moving sowhere else and if this is acceptable behavour ofcours i will be hesitamt to use their services anymore.
For some reason i can't even sent a PM to attract eleuthria's attention. If someone can do that for me it will be nice.

Yes i also left a lot of coins there and now looking at the good price a couple of hours ago i intended to sell them only to find this in the google cached version of the page:
"I0 Guild is being taken offline after the 24 hours of warning was posted at 7:03 AM (PDT) on 8/22/11. The pool is still running to try to get payouts confirmed. The pool will turn off in a few hours once the last payout has enough confirms to reach the exchange.

I0 Guild may return at a later time, if the currency shows any signs of revival."

Warning?Couldnt you send an email at least to consider it warning?

Yes i like good power supplys too but when it came to making a mining rig i made a lot of math and i could't justify a higher price with 2% lower electricity[the difference between lets say bronze and silver PSU,and the difference between a PSU at 95% load and 60% load is even smaller ~1-2% when we talk about nice PSUs].And then also i think the commonly cited usages of the cards are exaggerated but i have not made any measures.

Neither your cpu nor memory will bottleneck you in any way.Buy the cheapest things you can find.In fact i think your PSUs are overckill as well.I have miners with 1x6950+3x5830 with cheap CM gx650 and they are fine.
