Careful potential traders:  before you deal with this guy, remember that buyers can use chargeback in paypal and claim that the BTC were never delivered.

OP, if you want to buy BTC, consider using another medium.

I think what paypal needs to do here is setup some kind of system that allows it to verify that the agreed upon number of coins were delivered to the address. Would that even be possible for them?

I reccomend purchasing from known exchange sites to prevent scams.

I would indeed like to do this. Could you recommend a specific path for me to take though? Seem to be so many and I'd like the quickest and easiest.

I think your best bet would be to post the gift card in the bitcoin marketplace under buying.

I would say the majority is not understanding of Bitcoin in general and is what causes the negativity.

Agreed! Most of the negativity is coming from people who (incorrectly) believe they have no place in the digital currency market because all of their assets are tangible (cash, house, etc). What they don't understand is that if they have savings in the bank...its digitally stored. What they get from an ATM is just a printout (cash in paper bills) of their account.

Hi. Brand new here! Just wanting to talk to the bitcoin supporters as there are very few of us in NZ. Hope to be trading with the best of you as soon as the mark of the noob is removed from my face!
