Definitely NOT!

Would you give some random site access to your bitcoin wallet?

There is no reason to let a 3rd party create your seed.
Go offline and generate the seed yourself.
You can find a few options here: http://iotanodes.org/seed/

Dr. Julie Maupin (G20, Max Planck Institute, Advisor to German government) joins IOTA

https://blog.iota.org/welcome-julie-maupin-to-iota-14b9ac92478f

On being a part of IOTA
Decentralized technologies today are presenting humanity with unprecedented opportunities to re-think the way we organize both our individual and collective lives. Everything is up for re-invention. From finance to social networking to democracy itself… there has never been a better time to be on the cutting edge. Thanks to its adherence to the golden rules of parsimony, modularity, and interoperability, IOTA has the potential to truly become the backbone of the Internet-of-Everything. Especially when considered in combination with parallel developments in artificial intelligence, the possibilities are staggering. I’m thrilled to be part of this budding community of pragmatic idealists. I look forward to contributing to the mission to ensure that IOTA develops in impactful ways that deliver broadly distributed benefits not just to the fortunate few, but especially to the many historically underserved segments of our planet’s amazing and diverse populations.
We are thrilled to have someone as professional and passionate as Julie join the project. She has been assisting us behind the scenes for some time now, particularly the IOTA Foundation registration process, but also various other valuable tasks, and has been absolutely tremendous. Her expertise and vast experience overlaps perfectly with a lot of the upcoming plans for IOTA, so we expect great synergy. Everyone give her a warm welcome!

Speaking of AI, there is a new $79 Neural Compute USB stick.
Integrating with vision is getting easier.

What's happened with Blockexplore / Rich List ? (http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/). It's been stuck ~ 24 hours ago (last update: 2016-09-22 05:21 GMT). Normally there is 1hour period update, if I'm not fallen.

Still doesn't work. Anyone knows, what's happened?

Added rich list and top harvesters.

A couple of misspelled words that need fixing.

https://www.nem.io/
In the Node Reputation:
"It is enabled via Eigntrust++, a security clustering algorithm that allows nodes to give reputation to their neighbors."
should read
"It is enabled via Eigentrust++, a security clustering algorithm that allows nodes to give reputation to their neighbors."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.0
In the OP under Features:
"- NEM uses innovative Proof-of-Importance algorithm: first reputation based blockchain algorythm"
should read
"- NEM uses innovative Proof-of-Importance algorithm: first reputation based blockchain algorithm"

Spent some time on it. Added node display and node list.

That was just a placeholder for testing. (An article mentioned that one of the founders was from Norway, so I used that location.) This is a work in
progress, the mechanism to find the nodes still needs to be created and added. I recently discovered IOTA, so I'm not even sure if it is possible to
display all the nodes as is with a regular blockchain. IOTA is really different, this may take some time.

Wow, lots of cool stuff! A lot of the node importances are 0 because of remote harvesting. Maybe find the mapped account and display that importance?

Good idea. Fixed it.

Do I need to keep my wallet open in order to get a "vested" balance?  Huh
No Smiley Just wait.

thanks! I wonder how many XEM I will harvest  Smiley

Hi b1007
With only ~30,000 XEM I have harvested 23 block in the last month, almost 1 block/day.
There were a couple of times where I got 3 blocks in a single day.
Right now most blocks have no fees. As the number of transactions increase, more blocks will contain fees.
In the future there will be no emply blocks.  Wink

You can use an explorer to see the results of others. e.g.
