1.9 beta wallets released!
Make sure to backup your wallet.dat before installation, and follow the instructions:

https://github.com/dime-coin/dimecoin/releases/tag/1.9.0-beta1

I personally recommend this update.

PHASE
We are scheduled for listing on CryptalDash once their Exchange is up and running! First integrations will be the ERC20 tokens and then the rest of the coins will be integrated shortly after. For more information on their KYC process click here: https://medium.com/@cryptaldashcoin/doing-your-kyc-right-the-first-time-tips-on-getting-your-kyc-completed-and-approved-e35b6f4ea5d7

VOTE
More exchanges means more liquidity! We asking you to vote for Dimecoin to get listed on CoinPulse, a recently new crypto exchange:

https://request.coinpulse.io/suggestions/12145/dimecoin-dime

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTION
We are steadily working on making Dimecoin a proof-of-stake coin. We have a 1.9 update provided by our developer, @AxlCrypto - Alexander,  (not yet PoS enabled) that we will be releasing shortly to the exchanges, mining pools, and the public. We see these as the next steps that fit for the future of Dimecoin and it's longevity.

Please remember we are currently all volunteers working on this project. We are in contact with 3rd party blockchain developers to progress our desired developments further. Our team is stubborn to make Dimecoin successful and on par in a highly competitive market. We are aware of the wallet maintenance on our major exchanges. Stay respectful, stay watchful. Your concerns are heard and they do not go unnoticed.

REAL USE CASE
Don't forget Dimecoin is listed on @Paytomat powered point-of-sale systems in over 340 locations and growing. They are an extraordinary and respected crypto team in the field  helping to drive crypto innovation in the present.

Final release for v1.9.0 is now available:

Are the Devs still around?

Each time when I try to download the wallet from the website for windows OS I get a warning that it may have a virus and recommend not to install the software. Never had this with other wallets. Can someone explain this? Did anyone install the wallet?

Hi there - this is a false positive, no need to worry. If you make an exception with your firewall to allow the wallet it will work no problem

DIME/BTC at Cryptopia

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=DIME_BTC

Good times ahead!

I have 6 million tokens very great times ahead lol

On a serious note... Why are you being so malicious and toxic with your spam posts? I'm not sure if you were banned from the Telegram group, but we treat every community member with the utmost respect... so if you were banned the only reason you would have been would be because you were spamming the chat room with the type of garbage posts that you keep posting on this thread.

If you think you were banned for no reason, or you don't believe the reason for getting banned is a good one then I'm more than happy to talk with you and see about lifting the ban if you were indeed banned without good enough reason. But we need to have a CIVIL conversation to do so, are you up to the challenge?

If so you can DM me on Telegram, my username is: @JMPraise or if you don't use telegram you can reach out to me on Discord, my handle is: Jordan M.#6973

tomorrow, April 30 is the day dimecoin group promised deadline for the release of white paper. Whether white papers are issued or not, prices will fall, increasingly declining, never rising. Because this project was not good at the beginning
 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Do I still get that apology and 10mil dime off sillyme?
Do i get 10 million dime coins if i am right?
YOU GOING TO PAY ME 10 MILLION DIME COINS IF I AM RIGHT?
NEW DIME COIN SONG WATCH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhyAREaWfyU

Why do you keep just keep posting quotes without writing anything new? Maybe I owe you a thank you for growing the Dimecoin thread even more... but a word of advice - if you want people to take you seriously then you should fix your caps lock key, and stop with the toxic posting.

I'm still trying to figure out why you are such an angry person, what happened that you feel the need to attack the entire Dimecoin community with your rage fits? Also, did you take my advice and check out http://www.apa.org/topics/anger/control.aspx? They have a lot of recommendations on some self-help books about anger management, but I feel you may need actual counseling... fortunately they have a link where you can search for counselors near you (here's a link for easy access: https://locator.apa.org/)

only prob with coinedup is they now implement a 10,000,000 order limit, fukin crazy 4 cheap coins, takes hours just to make an order! I requested they get rid of this in their reddit, email them and tell them on redditt how crazy this is!! Als they do a 20 mill limit on withdraws!!!

They been saying about this white paper for months and still no white paper just a bunch of crypto kiddies trying to act like they have a really good project. If they burn the fucking tokens to 100 million this project will be worth something, 15 exchange sites and it's still worth nothing sounds like a scam

Hey Sillyme, would you mind leaving Dimecoin out of what ever rage you are going through and head somewhere else to talk bad about a coin that actually is a scam? Yes, Dimecoin WAS a scam coin years ago when it was first made (part of many reasons why there is a 2nd thread on here now)... but ever since Ryan and the new team took over in January the possibility of Dimecoin being a scam has dropped down to 0%.

From the way I see it I assume that you must consider most things in life a "scam" if you think that of Dime... not only has there been real life demonstrations of payments being made using Dimecoin IN RETURN for goods & services - something that no "scam coin" has ever or will ever do. Because let's face it, people who make scam coins want to do as little amount of work as possible... also (in my experience) there have never been wallets developed for any scam coin because what kind of person who makes such a coin would bother wasting time on DEVELOPING any software for the coin when their only reason for creating it in the first place is to make some quick money and abandon ship?

As Dime Whale (and others) have already stated, we have made a lot of progress since 4 months ago and have actual real world uses and we are the farthest from a scam as a coin can get - you can find evidence all over twitter and on our website (or ask in the Telegram group) too. So please do your own research before spreading FUD and talking shit about coins you obviously don't know anything about.

P.S. - You should seriously consider taking anger management classes and learn to be more mature. All that vulgar name calling and acting tough behind a screen is a bit childish. I'm not joking, I'm being 100% serious... please check out this link - http://www.apa.org/topics/anger/control.aspx

For anyone that hasn't seen it yet, Ryan posted a video earlier today with a demonstration of purchasing a pack of gum with Dimecoin.

Check it out here:

I uploaded it to YouTube for anyone looking to share on other social media platforms (it is also higher quality since Twitter greatly reduces the video quality)

Is this Community  coin.
How it can have two official website and two githubs?

What a crock of shit who gives a damn about a parking lot in another state is this some kind of fucking joke

A lot of people give a shit, and this is not a joke. Name 1 coin who has landed a partnership this big in under 6 weeks (let alone the 4 other partnerships that have already been made), then maybe you're posts won't be a joke.

hi guys

i see dime market on cryptopia is down

would love to know if i can withdraw my coin from cryptopia without any issue ??

no chance to loose them  Huh

Hey caramel - the issues with Cryptopia are on their side of things, its nothing to do with DimeCoin (if you go to any LTC or DOGE pairing of any coin you'll notice that they have the same warning message on all of them). Cryptopia is extremely backed up with support tickets at the moment, rest assured the DimeCoin team has reached out to them and is actively seeking a resolution to the problem.

To answer your question regarding withdrawal from Cryptopia, you can withdraw without worrying about your coins getting lost... however it might take a long time (a few days ago I heard someone say it took 12 days until their coins arrived in their wallet). On the other hand I've also heard people reporting that they have transferred their DimeCoins out and into the windows wallet which only took 2-3 hours for them.

Bottom line is no, you will not lose them... it just might take days for hte transfer to completely go through.
