I have no doubts about the long term potential of XC and am holding until I can buy a house or retire with my XC. However the altcoin market is a day traders paradise and I think many of them are buying the rumor selling the news. Does not happen with every coin and every release. Take DRK for example, they rose well past 1m sats and stayed there after RC2 release.
Buy the rumor and sell the news is a good general rule, but there are always exceptions to the rule.

Today is also a milestone for XC's public image and social media presence, which of course will have a huge network effect. While XC's official public launch is at Rev 3, today we will be unveiling a revamped Twitter page, starting a Facebook page, and of course launching our official website!

There will be a release today, but since we have three days of announcements, the paid release won't go out today. Too much good news still to come. ;-)
