Goldmint. I think it's still on. It's about assets backed by physical gold. Bought on Tokenator with 50% bonus these days but will be disappointed if that collective purchase on Tokenator do not reach the minimum because in that way Tokenator will send me my ETH back instead of MNTP. But Goldmint looks really interesting although a bit complicated to understand their big idea.

the team didn't implement best practices when the ICO launched, which resulted in this
What do you think are the best practices that they failed to implement? Can you summarize? Let's all try to learn.

Newbie ----  100 (TTT) per post maximum of 1,000 (TTT)

Just curious as a manager - why did you guys decide to let newbies in the reward program? Any insight on their relevance?

When it comes down to it, we have to start from somewhere. We want to ensure everyone in the community gets to participate. Just because you may be a newbie doesn't mean you may not know what your talking about, only sometimes, Just kidding. But in all seriousness, we want to ensure the entire community gets a chance to participate. Great question though.
Ah, got ya. I thought you might have some statistics insights that prove newbies are also relevant for such a campaign. When you explore the real impact of newbies' on your current program goals, share your conclusions with me in PM or somewhere on the forum, please, because it might help a lot to understand many things.

Product and marketing
  • Primary product review
  • White Paper writing tips
  • Facilitating with Landing Page
  • Step-by-step guide to marketing (PDF or video)
  • Traffic package for $2.000: Facebook, Twitter, Adwords, Reddit
  • Database of useful resourses (forums, blogs, mass media, ICO listings, regional platforms, etc.)
Can you clarify the marketing offer? You provide a "step-by-step guide to marketing" and a "database of useful resources", but who will pitch media, write posts and articles, and so on in this case? Is it your customer's duty since you just help them what and where to do for a good promo?

I met 5% to 10%. I guess it's more like the question of each project's economics rather than kinda standard.

Status raised a lot of money
Status raised about or even over $100M, which is a huge amount although way less than Tezos did.

I am not getting why there is so much of a panic. The developers offered to issue reimbursement in tokens. Tokens are what you wanted to receive in exchange for your money. It seems fair enough because you paid for tokens and still received them. Yes, the tokens became less valuable at the moment. But that is where your risks were resting - the market. Moreover, you have tokens, and the project you trusted is still alive and promising.

I think I'll try and get something up and running (a website explaining the concept) or probably write a white paper and then comeback and ask around because if I ask before I do anything, I'll probably be discouraged or loose interest.
As an experienced user here said:
say your basic idea here, don't much explain the idea if you think your idea will be stolen, and start build a link.
I guess what's meant is that you really should not worry that anyone might steal some basic idea. If the idea is basic, not really explained in detail yet that already sounds worthy, you can get attention of people who can help you not only with the implementation, but also with actually writing a good (!), comprehensive, mature white paper, planning and scheduling, finding a necessary angle for your concept, and so on. That will be especially important if that is going to be your first cryptocurrency project: Most of the community members here are greatly experienced and can save you a lot of time, efforts and potentially crucial shortcomings in strategy when invited to help.

If you think your idea is too complicated to be presented in the basic form and that is why you decided to create a website or a white paper by yourself just to explain it better, be careful because that might mean big future problems for your whole project in raising awareness and attracting fans and investors, if even the idea appears to be so hard to understand.

Anyway, feel free to PM me when you are ready to share your idea. Or let me know whenever you want to chat about some project development aspects, but I cannot say that I know everything, I just have some good practice, so I'd better suggest that you post questions and thoughts on these forums, because getting the attention of many other people may very well be much more helpful.

Re: Resources with tips on how to launch, manage bounty campaigns

It seems like no comprehensive information on the topic is around. What I suggest is to sign up for some telegram groups on the topic. Personally I found communication in that groups most helpfull. I can't tell you exact names as my groups are in Russian. If you will be able to find some in English please post it here so more people can join.
Yeah, I know there are multiple community assets like forums, groups and channels. I am following some on Telegram, WhatsApp and Slack, not to mention Bitcointalk and others. I am wondering if there are better-structured resources where expert knowledge and practice are accumulated in a more mature manner. I mean, there are a lot of very useful discussions about bitcoin and altcoin project development in the existing talk space, which is incredibly helpful, but the amount of information along with the number of threads is growing so fast that it becomes more and more complicated to quickly find an answer to a certain question or look at bigger aspects seamlessly.

If you will be able to find some in English please post it here so more people can join.
Sure, I will. I also hope someone else in the know can share useful links. If no good resource like that exists, maybe we should think of creating some wikipedia so every person who knows a thing can contribute and all the others can quickly grasp the basics and so on. Currently, I have no time to arrange that, but I am more and more keen on trying in the near future, so feel free to PM me if you like the idea to participate in something like that. As a person that already has some cool experience in the field of ICO, I will also be glad to take part in such an educational project lead by anybody else who also cares.

Resources with tips on how to launch, manage bounty campaigns
by

Does anybody know some good resources like white papers, or blogs, or threads here to learn some advice and best practices for launching and managing bounty campaigns?

I searched for that quite deeply but found nothing truly relevant.

Just curious and want to make sure that I am not missing any significant insight in this field. I guess a collection of links to such resources could be very helpful for many community members.

Thanks.

wheter there is any bounty for this coins?
Yeah, I was going to ask about that as well, but after pressing "Post" I saw the message: "While you were typing a new reply has been posted."  Wink

Translations to different languages will be awarded with 5000 Coins. (to be submitted as PM with translators waves adress)
Just to clarify the question a little more. I have not really got the point about translations. I mean, do you guys have details on this and any other bounty that you are doing or going to launch published somewhere? If yes, please provide a link, because I could not find anything. I'd also consider adding an official project bounty campaign thread here.

Re: Looking for members for new project
by

I want to create a new coin and looking for members for this project I can pay fee by bitcoin

-Coder C++
-Writer
-Marketer
-Web developer
-Graphic

PM me if u are interested.

What do you mean by "marketer"?

I am asking because if that is about pure public relations and marketing, with writing a lot of different texts on the same thing, promoting on social media, arranging display ad campaigns, pitching media, etc., then I can hardly help. But if you are talking about someone able to lead the whole project development, marketing, and expansion work, I guess I have sufficient experience in that field and enough spare time at the moment.

Anyway, the others are right: You should share at least just a little bit more information about your project and maybe the project structure you have in mind, or else many users experienced in bitcoin/altcoin matters might not be interested enough to PM you because of many other opportunities that are more clear from the start. Just a thought.
