What is FUD?

FUD stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt and people who know how to use it do so to manipulate the market. Why? Because if a whale can manipulate the market and bring the prices down then they can cause retail investors to panic and sell their crypto whereby the whale can buy it back at cheaper prices and accumulates more crypto. Companies like JPMorgan are notorious for using FUD to manipulate the market. They get a news organization to post an article with a clickbait style title where the title and article create fear, uncertainty and doubt which then leads to retail investors panic selling. This is exactly how FUD works.

Who is Trustalyze?

Trustalyze was created out of the idea that the market shouldn’t move based on a fake news article. Whales, news organizations, Twitter celebrities and the likes all use these tactics to move the market in their favor. This causes the retail investor to panic sell and lose a lot of money so Trustalyze was created to help put a stop to this type of market manipulation.

Decentralized FUD Analysis

We take a decentralized approach to measuring the FUD levels. While our built in algorithms help decipher the FUD we also rely on the crypto community to help manually rate the FUD articles as they come out. Each article is rated as it comes in and an appropriate FUD level is attached.
