Re: WHY 99% OF ICO IS SCAM?
by

on 23/08/2018, 08:36:11 UTC
Hi, lads!

There are many ICOs ongoing at present but in 2018 a lot of them is a SCAM. Why does this happen?

I have revealed several issues in the article: https://telegra.ph/WHY-99-of-ICO-is-BULLSHIT-08-21

If there are any other points, It will be interesting to hear your opinions. This is really appreciated.

Thanks, friends!

I actually went and read through your article, Its full of assumptions and at times practical possibilities, but to prove 99% of ICOs are scam, you need to come up with numbers and figures, showing total number of ICO in a period of time and 99% of them being scam. I personally dont think that it is viable to say 99% being scam, yes a large number out there are scams, but 99% is too big to count upon.

Yes, buddy, you are right this is a marketing step, but from those around 40 ICO that I was tracking (not investing) 38 were scams and only 2 or 3 are good projects with working products. So here are the numbers, and the % is really high and if it is not 99% that it is 90 % taking into account these numbers!

The reason for all of this is the greed to have money which can be easily achieved through fake ICOs. In crypto it would be hard to trace the scammers and most of them can escape without any cases filed at the court.

Full support!

it seems to me because there is no regulation for the market and therefore this happens in the market of start-ups. when the regulation comes and everything will be fine

but regulation can bring less volatility and this is now one of the most exciting points about cryptos that allow you to earn money!

Not the %99 but there are many scam ICO's.. Personally i worked about 30 scam or unsuccesful project and everyday this number getting high for me. I really make researches before i join to bounty campaigns or ICO's. The high pointed ICO rewievs never helps us, it can be scam too, so we have big problem about it.. :/

yes, sure, not 99%, it is like a marketing step, but the number of scams is increasing, have a look at the article where I have revealed some points on how to distinguish between good and bad! thank you for your feedback

in 2018 the new members of the forum on bitcointalk are very significant and plus a lot of new bounty managers who are still inexperienced in handling projects offer themselves as bounty managers and this is a great opportunity for unscrupulous actors to make scam projects and add price problems to the exchange market. that is not good

yes, buddy, agree that is not good at all, and for people, it is very difficult to find a proper solutions whey you can invest, that is why this topic was created, let us help others!

It is just wickedness on the part of mankind. They know from onset that there is nothing they have to offer and yet they will bring their crap to the ICO market where an inexperience and unsuspecting mind will be exploited. You can save yourself the scam problem by doing some due diligence finding out who are the team members, what is the product  that the project want to bring out, will the product add to the good of mankind and this concept of theirs will it be realizable?

Yes, thank you, that is a valuable point, and I fully support it!

I feel submission is not true as it is not backed up with detailed facts and figure, Yes we have lots of scam ICO, BUT I feel the 99% stated is enough to discourage investors into the cryptocurrency space and also have a negative impact on real ICO project.

Thanks, buddy! Actually, this figure is a marketing step just to show people that investments in shitty projects are really dangerous and we should learn how to distinguish such project from the good ones. But I understood your points. And really I have seen a lot of ICOs in 2018 and at least was tracking around 40 and around 35 of them were scammed!)

Is TOMBOLA's ICO mentioned as a scam ICO in your article?

They edited their whitepaper mid-ICO from an EOS project to ETH to pretend it's a blockchain project while taking investors money.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4691540.600

People who invested already (the ANN thread is still titled EOS) weren't offered their money back or anything. The team just changed whitepaper and pretends its the same project on a different protocol.

Thank you for the feedback! Nope, bro, I just gave some reasons and groundings on how to distinguish between good and bad. I was not talking about any individual project. So It would be appreciated if you develop the topic and give more groundings for choosing the right investment opportunities!

Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??
by
profit-shooter
on 03/07/2018, 20:01:25 UTC
Hi, buddy. Actually, altcoins price depend only partially on BTC and Ethereum price - the most important force is demand and offer in BTC, Ethereum or USD. Crypto market is a speculative entity at present that is why demand and offer are the main moving factors. In this respect, technical analysis can show you the most relevant support levels for altcoins!

That is an amazing news. Crypto start moving to the real sector of the economy. But such news is not good for speculators, because crypto might become more stable and less volatile with time thus eliminating former earnings opportunities. Let see if this happens!

Re: Do you think the markets will collapse

The markets will collapse only up to the level required by some manipulators - whales in the crypto world. This is an inevitable part of the trading - due to such volatile falls, some people really become very rich. So at this moment I don't recommend selling anything. Just wait and you will be rewarded for that.
