I know people who did that to cheap USB 2.0 HUBS and it did not go well...
nemo has been doing some great work on what hubs works with how many eruptors here :

seems to me  i remember someone on here putting there test results there also had to be one of the smaller hubs i guess  Roll Eyes

I agree!!!

How do you buy  ASICMiner stock than the hardware!

Thankyou.

ask mechs since he tried to yesterday but fell short on his bid (should have went to 4 mechs its still a deal at that price point)
CITM provides a service and a great one at that so imho you guys should let him do his thing here and discuss this here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=81.0

Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon
by

thats what i'm going off of except i did it from bottom to top so
Code:
sudo systemctl enable openntpd.service
sudo ntpd -s
date
to make sure its the right date
webpage says :Server Time: Wed, 31 Dec 1969 18:04:03 CST
and at the top it says:Graph error: the first entry to fetch should be after 1980 (-3357)
so did i do it in the wrong order?

For part 1, read up on this page
yes sudo ntpd -s helps after the miner is running but as ive asked can you get the time right at the startup before the miner starts? like when the power goes out and the pi restarts it always goes back to 1960 something
i'm a big fan of rtfm also but havent found the answer to my questions in the 40 pages i've read so far here or in the wiki

new user to linux,pi and bitcoins so be gentle but had two questions
1. is there anyway to get the time correct before the miner starts so the webpage doesnt say uptime of 15930 days?
2. how would i fix this on the webpage ?
Graph error: opening '/opt/minepeon/var/rrd/hashrate.rrd': Permission denied Graph error: opening '/opt/minepeon/var/rrd/hashrate.rrd': Permission denied Graph error: opening '/opt/minepeon/var/rrd/hashrate.rrd': Permission denied Graph error: opening '/opt/minepeon/var/rrd/hashrate.rrd': Permission denied Graph error: opening '/opt/minepeon/var/rrd/hashrate.rrd': Permission denied

Regarding the second error, could I ask you to do me one more favor? Can you open a command prompt inside the cgminer folder and run the same command shown in the error? e.g.:

so now after playing around for awhile ive found it ....there was space between the server and the port that cgminer didnt like at all
it seems when i typed in the server name in the host box i put a space after the server name(stratum+tcp://pool.fcpool.com) and multiminer added it to the argument
Code:
cgminer --scrypt --lookup-gap 2 -I 19 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 21712 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1400 --gpu-vddc 1.087 --temp-target 79 --auto-fan   -T -o    stratum+tcp://pool.fcpool.com :3334 -u noob.1 -p nub -d 0 -d 1 --scrypt --api-listen --api-port 4028 --api-allow W:127.0.0.1
and that why one coin was working and the other wasnt

hope that helps and thanks for the help

wanted to try out your mobileminer but all i get on my iphone 4s is a blank page anything i need to add anywhere besides my email and api code?
Would love to see a log option in PR7.
Something simple like:
from 7:33 till 9:56 mined X coin.
from 9:56 till 14:56 mined Y coin.

Makes it easier to track what happened if you can't watch your rigs 24/7.
I've logged your request and will add it.
also was this ever added couldnt find it if it  was ?
and if i may suggest adding the price nothing worse then mining it at 150 ish over btc and converting it at under 100

Something simple like:
from 7:33 till 9:56 mined X coin @ (price)
sorry for all the questions couldnt find a readme  Grin

ok since i'm a noob around here want to see if i understand how this process works of course my numbers and dates wont be exact but in general am i correct in how this all works ?

1. buy chips 16 is what fits on a board and account for one or two bad ones so get 18 to be safe
2. send (18x.086) 1.548 to batch 7 address + send an email with all the info
3.wait for email to website and pay for shipping and assembly (fully assembled unit, including all necessary hardware and testing, is $133.5 +shipping) pay 2 btc
4. wait......till around nov ish to get it

so..am i missing anything?
