Of course the game is still on. Check us on discord for support. Binance, Kucoin and others support NANO.

I want it to try also but do I need to deposit a certain amount of money before I would play your game or it is free?
This is my game during my elementary grades and even today, we are playing that game for playing basketball or doing a task in our house. But I never played it in a gamble game wherein there is a prize whenever I win.

I think you can move this topic in Games and Rounds.

All you need is a NANO wallet.

Here are your options for free play:
  • Complete a survey to claim a no deposit bonus
  • Claim NANO from any NANO faucet

I always thought a rock paper scissors game should be a dapp, that way you do not have to really put it all on a website, you could just make it decentralized and that way you could have two people gambling without having a centralized system. Sure the dapp could still make money from it, after all why would anyone work tirelessly just to get nothing in return, obviously there has to be some profits.

You would still need a centralized match making system. Not sure how a house player would be created without a centralized server. Interesting suggestion though, people seem to like token pre-sales.

It seems that every month or so there is a gambling site that is released that is run under a smart contract with an alt-coin. These alt coins are usually large or medium cap like ETH, TRON, EOS, NANO, etc. So I am not surprised to see another one launched to give an alt-coin some actual real world use, I think its great for adoption.

However here is the issue. Most crypto gamblers usually only hold BTC, LTC and ETH. They very rarely will go and purchase an alt such as NANO to gamble with. Sure it has lots of trading volume however most of the NANO use right now is just for speculation. There aren't too many gamblers who are hodling NANO right now. Usually what happens the site will get very little usage even though its an interesting concept.

These are relevant points. One of the issues I see is that people usually only promote their site to the die hard supporters of such a coin. I'm actually very critical of this kind of thing. I'm interested in working with players and affiliates regardless of if they hodl this coin.

I've been running another site (https://playerkillers.exchange) which is a browser-based, fully animated action RPG featuring more than a thousand areas. Instead of just promoting it to the usual people who are already interested in NANO, I get traffic from a wide variety of sources. As it is free to play and you can earn crypto from the game, I've been able to introduce people who aren't specifically interested in crypto.

Similarly, Rock Paper Scissors Online doesn't require any risk to get started. It is easy enough to play with faucet amounts. As I've said above all players need is a wallet to try it. You can claim from any of the major faucets or use the no deposit bonus on the site.

Players will appreciate the choice of NANO once they try the game. Transaction speed and no transaction fees are what makes this so convenient. Everyone will have different opinions about their favorite coins. This thread will be about the game, not about NANO. Everyone is entitled to their favorites. I respect that.

I always say, "Use the best tool for the job"

With this site I wanted players to be able to play with micro amounts, have instant payouts and not worry about fees. Usually that would require a third party service like coinpot, which doesn't allow payments last time I checked. Even so, they charge fees and are centralized. For this particular concept NANO happened to be a good fit. Because transactions are free and fast, I can automatically payout users when they leave the game. Most transactions are fully confirmed within a few seconds.

This also benefits affiliates, because there is no need to wait for weekly, monthly or daily payouts. I pay affiliates as soon as their referral leaves the game.

All that is required to try this game is a wallet. You can get NANO from any faucet. There's no need to sell or exchange your existing crypto if you only want to try the game. Totally risk free!

Thanks to everyone for sharing valuable feedback.

not sure if you are part of the gambling site's team but your first thread here has already been deleted for the reason that your gambling site doesn't accept BTC. I suggest moving it to its proper board to avoid your thread being deleted just like what ryzaadit suggested.

My thread got removed?
Yeah.

Probably due your website using an altcoin option (nano) for the deposit and withdrawl activity, your announcement thread should be on Announcements (Altcoins) / Token (Altcoin) child board.

If you want to make a thread on the gambling board, you should have "bitcoin" as the transaction for your website.

I am the sole developer. That was my affiliate who posted here. Another user seemed upset that he was using an affiliate link. If moderators will provide guidance I am happy to comply with the rules of the forum. As I am not using an affiliate link, I see no issue here. Thanks for your concern.

I used Melon.js for the client. Very easy to start with that. Excellent support was offered for free. I'd recommend it for beginners. For the server I used CometD/BayeuxServer/Jetty.

The artwork was royalty free. You can see the credits on the home page. All of the levels were generated with code I wrote. It took awhile for me to write it in my spare time, but now that I know what goes into a game it would be much faster to write again. There was plenty of trial and error. With something like this, you need to experiment around to find what works. I personally was new to writing heavier JS apps and had experience with Java based webapps. The tools you choose maybe different. I can't say that any language or tool is the best, but I liked these options. I'm happy with my choices for the tech.

Hope this helps you. I wouldn't worry about the specifics of technology used. These are actually very minor details. On the computer there is a solution for most any problem you will approach.

Instead focus on bringing a project to completion. Persistence and stamina are the most important ingredients. It also helps if you can break your project down into manageable pieces, so you can approach it step by step. Look at the number of people who never finish their projects. This is a bigger hurdle than any technical issue.

BTC and ETH have fees and are much slower than NANO. So it won't be able to support the same microtransactions and automatic cashouts. Thanks for the advice on the copper membership. I'll have a look at that.

Surveys are what they are. If you haven't been credited then you didn't complete it to the advertiser's satisfaction. Clicks are being tracked from the site. There's no need to refresh the page. The bonus will come through and update without you doing anything. My advice is to click the links in any emails sent to you.

You may also consider the twitter giveaway for an easy bonus.

Your site have some promotion that you guys offer to players.

Yeah, I'm giving some bonuses away on twitter.

Retweet this with your affiliate link and I will credit you directly in the database. https://twitter.com/PlayerKillers__/status/1266216756785250305

The normal no deposit bonus requires some surveys, but retweet this one for a freebie.

There's also the instant affiliate payouts I mentioned above.

Hello all, I am the developer of this site.

First of all, I'd like to thank the affiliate for posting this thread. I'll always support my affiliates and players. I'd also like to thank everyone for providing their feedback.

All of the questions raised, such as bidding and matchmaking have been addressed in the game.

The game can be played with micro amounts, so if you want to try it you can use NANO from any of the faucets. Here's a site reviewing the available NANO faucets. Simply trying the game would have addressed all of the questions raised here.

http://www.tokenclaimer.pw/2019/05/get-free-nano-xrb-huge-list-of-nano.html

As many of you already know, NANO is a fast and feeless crypto. There are 30 decimal places of precision built into the currency. Currently most wallets allow up to 6 decimal places of precision. This means you can play the game with only one one-millionth of a NANO. This is less than one one-millionth of a USD. Again, there's no risk here. You can simply claim NANO from a faucet, put it in your wallet and try the game with this minimum amount.

For those of you who need further explanations, I am happy to directly address some of the questions raised.

Quote
What if no other players are online, will my bid be trapped until a player is available?
No, as described above you can cashout at anytime. Cashouts are processed automatically if you disconnect. Additionally there is a computer player you can play against. Each round has a timeout of 30 seconds. There is a similar countdown so players don't need to wait for a match.

Quote
What if I can't find someone to match my bid?
This has been addressed. You will be matched with the house player when no players are online. When another player is available you will be matched based upon your bid. This means that the round's bid is set to the bid of the player who's bid is lowest. Players are matched in order of bid with the two highest bidders playing each other.

Bids are 10% of your deposit. Your bid will raise as you win more and increase your balance.

Quote
Why not make some more complex games?
I have also published a game called "Player Killers' Exchange", this is a full multiplayer action RPG with more than a thousand different maps. It also pays you out in NANO. If you would like you can watch some of the videos of this or check the thread here at bitcointalk.org. I've been supporting this game since 2018 and all support issues have been resolved satisfactorily. This is not a text based clicker game. It is a full graphical action RPG playable in the browser. No install is required.

For this project, I felt that I wanted to make something simple and accessible for the casual player.

Quote
The UI....
This is a new release as of this week. UI and more affiliate features will be added as the game continues to develop. I have not abandoned my other NANO project. I'll continue to add new features and create other games.

Quote
The game is too simple...
When I started this project, I had the same opinion. But as I continued to research it I found that there are championships of RPS games. The strategy involves predicting what your opponent will play next based upon their past moves and their reading of your past moves. To facilitate this gameplay, I allow you to view the last 16 moves of your opponent. Wikipedia goes into greater depth and a google search for "rock paper scissors strategies" revealed academic papers etc. At first the game does seem simple, but depth is there beneath the simplicity.

Hopefully some of you will take the time to actually try the game and perhaps reflect upon some of the comments here. I understand why some would have concerns. Looking forward to hearing more feedback, especially from those who have tried the game. Again, cashouts are automatic. I have no interest in holding your funds. NANO has no transaction fees, so I have no reason to keep your crypto. The above concerns would have been addressed by simply trying the game with a faucet amount.

Thank you for your consideration.

Here's a map of the layer one caves. There are 4 additional layers beneath this, making a total of 1125 cave areas, 9 islands and 27 castles.

The concept is very good, very smooth to play and quite fun.The only downsides I see is that sometimes a horde of mobs unleash and you get to fight 6-8 bots at the same time which is impossible to handle.I don't know if staying in the initial map would avoid this hardcore mobs horde so I can stuff myself before exploring or nope. Also do mobs spawn randomly or there have a respawn time in each map?

Thanks for playing.

Spawns happen when a player enters an empty map. As you progress the number of spawns increases. Harder NPCs are in different areas. You won't be fighting boss level NPCs unless you want to. Check the castle and deeper caverns for harder NPCs.

Backstab for double damage and don't let NPCs hit you from behind.

The basic NPCs (reptilians & orcs) move slowly so you can always make them chase you down corridors and shoot them with the bow. Killing NPCs recharges your health, so big groups aren't a problem if you kill them in the right order.

If you have low health and flee to a new area, there won't be as many NPCs. Those that do spawn will be of lesser difficulty. Simply resting in place without moving will recharge your health.

Check the discord chat for more tips. Teaming up with other players can make the game easier as well.

Try disabling/checking your browser add-ons.

Players are having good results from US, Canada, Europe, Brazil and throughout Asia. I can say the game plays well at up to 500ms. Works on smart TVs and old systems without issue.

I've added three deeper layers to the game. Each layer contains 225 areas for a total of 1386 areas. Six layers of underground caverns, nine islands and 27 conquerable castles.

You'll receive 50% of the loot from players killed in your castles.

the screenshots looks very interesting and a bit retro XD
But ingame it was laggy sometimes it beams me back and lost the first fight becourse of these lags o0

The game remains playable with a 500-600ms ping. I have developed it with impossible pings in mind. However, poor connections with high packet loss are difficult. These symptoms are usually remedied by improving your wifi signal. If you are using a wireless/microwave link from your service provider, check the signal and orientation of your antenna.

Overall the network requirements are much less than similar games.

You may also consider trying with a clean install of Chrome.

Ok thanks. I wonder how long it will take to make it to the leader board. Are there survival times for each player? I would like to know what effort it takes to get there.
Nice game.

I have word from the reigning champions:

Quote
around 14 hours to play to #1

Depending on the NANO/USD price it makes something like $1/hr.
