Same error for 1060 6gb, on windows 10.
1070,1080 works well.

I set in my bat file: Config--eth_config=A236, miner start, and works well.
But after few hours miner changed eth_config to A206 , etc.
How to set fixed Config--eth_config=A236 for all time?

Job abort failure, decreasing intensity -8 (see if --eth_direct_abort applies to you).
how to disable this decreasing?

Well, it's quite unexpected it's happening in the first place. What is your os and driver version? Also, are you running any other gpu work in parallel on the gpu?
Hiveos, amd 20.30 driver, nicehash eth mining. 7gpu all descrease speed from fixed a236 .
I guess I need to run tests on 20.30 for Polaris gpus then. I've never seen the abort mechanism fail on 20.10 and under for Polaris cards.
I still fail to reproduce the issue. However, the miner will give up trying to adjust for failed aborts after a few attemps, so if you're not experiencing issues with stale shares, a patch would be to start the miner with --eth_config=A268. After a while, it will stabilize at A236, which you want. Will test more on this shortly.
Also, are you running cpu mining or a second parallel gpu miner at the same time?
When i set fixed A236, after few hours miner set: A204!! And fix a204 for all time. ( Decrease from 236 to 204 = 32

Computer mode
When I start miner it says
''AMD Compute mode is not turned on!'' next line
''AMD Compute mode turned on'' and next line
''You need to reboot the computer in order to activate AMD compute Mode''
I have win 7 on rigs with rx470(4GB) and rx570(4GB) cards and tried different (newer) drivers and I don't have compute mode option.
I enter Gaming, global settings, but after that I don't have GPU workload (graphics) option, so no compute mode option.
My other rig rx470(4GB) and rx580(4GB) working fine.
What to do?
Windows 7, dont have compute mode for amd.

So claymore finally peaced out with his 10's of millions in eth dev donations huh. Im surprised he stuck around so long after 2017 anyway

Do you have any plans to add the DAG-split feature to your miner?
For AMD - to allow 8-gig cards to continue mining ETH after the DAG exceeds 4GB
For NVIDIA - to fix the ETH speed reduction because of the raising DAG (on 10xx cards)
