Care to share how your Quantum Computing hack proof?
Currently there is no such thing as a quantum proof signature algorithm. We have a lot of "maybe" candidates, but nothing definite. What snowblossom does is stack 3 candidates with reasonably large key sizes on top of another, to break the coin, all 3 have to be broken. That is a lot more than other quantum resistant coins.
Also the dev is planning to implement more algorithms if new discoveries are made

so if current snowfield is snowfield.11, for example, i should have 2TB SSD and even larger ?
For snowfield 11, yes, 2TB, or 2x1TB or 4x512GB in one system. Field 11 is far away right now, current one is 7. Hashrate has to quadruple for each new field, that is 256 times the current hashrate.

Re: [ANN] Snowblossom - new ASIC resist POW, quantum resistant, online now ❁
is it joke ? there is no about 128GB GPU memory in guide i tried that on CPU, miner was working fine, but with 0 hashrate and no warnings that i don't have GPU
Like I said, its not GPU mineable, the reason is its memory requirement. You need a fast (NVME)-SSD to mine this.

If your read all the 23 pages of the topic and see all our efforts to make something that could fit all the people and to not exclude noone from getting our coin you can figure it out what we mean with "fair play". But we'll continue to work on this way even if it can appear utopia .
I get your point. But this is crypto here, even if you tell everyone not to change the code, or even make it closed source, it will be modified.
What about releasing a miner that has no artificial hashrate-limit? Could be javascript even. This will make everyone equal again.

Re: [ANN] DIRA - The only coin with the BrainMining!
The javascript miner was created to give anyone the opportunity to get our coin, even who can't or doesn't want BrainMining. But we made a big mistake thinking people could play fair.
We cannot guess what your definition of "fair" is. Why do you call it nonce even if its not supposed to be changed?

Re: [ANN] DIRA - The only coin with the BrainMining!
It's not normal, we received some attacks but we changed the reward rule (that was previously based on number of the nonce) and now it is based on the difficulty, so even if someone tries to find a block with an higher nonce the reward is based anyway on the difficulty.
Are you serious?
You provided a reference-implementation in javascript for the miner and talk about an "attack" if someone chooses different nonces in their miner? Thats ridiculous!
If this is unwanted behavior: -publish a clear specification or -don´t accept these nonces

Is there a way to keep memory requirements low, by configuration option?
I like to fire up a node on a small VPS with only 512MB Ram..

Re: The Slimcoin thread | First Proof of Burn currency | Help to test v0.4.1
We can try to list it to yobit.net. Big plus is they never delist any coin. We can try to fill form and ask them to list Slimcoin. But they don't guarantee free listing, this exchange asks 0.1 BTC for guaranteed listing. I can give 0.01 BTC for listing Slimcoin to yobit. Anyone else?
