hey guys,
just noticed something with the wallet after falling 30 hours behind, it seems to me like the 2 wallets are fighting with each other to get up to date.
therefore is it possible for the bitcoin wallet to update itself first and once that is done the credits one can update, or maybe the other way round... i've been sat here for half an hour now waiting to start my mining up again
oh and the block explorer is down again

Block explorer up again.
The two chains are not exactly fighting to do updates but they can not update at the same time, so when you are receiving a block from one of them, blocks from the other chain will have to wait. As a rule of thumb, if the Bitcoin blockchain is too far behind, the Credits blockchain will wait for Bitcoin to become up to date.
30 minutes sounds like a long time to get synced for 30 hours though... Can you see blocks arriving in debug.log?
as soon as the bitcoin chain updated the credits one was updating at a much faster rate and yes everything was working fine, it honestly took about 30 mintues for it to update

ok here is my block and chain database is exactly the same format as torrent file on the first page, so follow the instructions for the torrent file, it's coming from my google drive so i hope it will share for you guys

ok folks if you are looking to speed syncing up as a new user below is a link from my own google drive please follow the instructions here http://credits-currency.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=517 which should enable you to sync within 10-20 minutes of copying files to correct place. i believe it should take no longer than 30 minutes to download the file, so you should have wallet working within an hour which is a damn sight quicker than letting it update itself

Ok got same problem as you now on my other computer so will see if I can sort it later sorry for this
What is the problem you are having? Sorry for dropping in out of the blue, but there where quite a lot of comments so if you refer the exact problem I might be able to help out.
I had a silly moment I backed up my folders to help glen out but because I did it whilst the wallet was running it corrupted them, I am in the process of reuploading some working folders to help people sync up 😊

right i've just redone my backup (whilst the program was shut) 
and installed it on my other PC to test and it works fine, so currently uploading to google again and i'll re send the link later it might even be morning now looking at the time.
i'll be leaving the wallet on my other computer which is my media pc running all the time to add as another connection to hopefully help with wallet syncs

I'll redo it tonight, is there any way to make this process easier in future?
Which process are you referring to? The process of backing up your working directory?

ok just had a look in my working directory and a lot of the first blocks are 0 i dont know why this is but my wallet is working fine with them like that, it is the same in the torrent file aswell

I can't help then, I have a second computer I can try this on later to see if my files are no good I just copied all the files out of my directory that were in the torrent file that worked for me, the advantage should have been that mine would have been more up to date

How long did it take to download from my google drive?

Download with my 150mbit tooks about 20 mins . I dont have a look of it, cause gardening
i put your unpacked file in my dir ( make a new dir ) and started with -datadir= .....
it will start and put bitcoin wallet etc new in this dir , BUT ! failure = GenesisBlock not found.
i got 0 Size Files in your Bitcoin Chain
You need to put these files in your users/glen/appdata/roaming/credits folder

Does anybody do me a fvor and upload the ChainFile to another Resources ?
i dont use Torrent .
btw : i got a fully synced Bitcoin Chain and put it in the right Dir.
BTC shows me fully synced in CRE . but CRE Chains stucks at 7 Weeks and crashed ;(

i'm currently uploading my blocks and chainstate folders to my google drive see if i can share it with you instead of having to torrent it.. it will also be up to date to the time of this post
