Why would you go from one huge scam to another coin that was scammed by Dev team?
Why not come to Cinni, the #2 PoS coin next to BC. If you are worried about Cinni's code, worry not - rat4 (dev of BC) assisted with it!
Cinni has only 15m coins, no premine, no ipo... and its about 1000% undervalued right now. Great/growing community with a transparent/active Dev team, and many projects in the works. This will be the next coin to take off similar to how BC did. I am invested in both.
MOst stupid name ever.. I burn some BTC here..what is bad that coin would be very strong if it had normal DEvs..but until some scam Dev (like this one) is hanged from a tree this will come againg
He will come and say another useless *bleep* like: "take my pants off and scratch ma balls", he is inadequate in last days. Check his post history. Suggesting people to buy AC just before it was delisted from all major exchanges, is it sane? Premining !!!billions!!! of coins it's not greed - it's complete stupidness.
Just my opinion: I have seen several 51% attacks in other coins, which finally survived. The 51%-attack isn't the problem if the developers create a checkpoint and handle it appropriate. And exchanges even re-enabled such coin for trade afterwards.
But the huge premine is a new problem never seen in any other coin, as much as I can remember. The survival of AC depends on whether the devs can handle these premined coins in a approriate manner .... We will see what the announced AC ver2 will bring to us ....
Some guy discovered a potential scam here and advertise it to whole world instead of disclosing or discussing it with dedicated and experienced members of the community ,inadvertently attracted millions of trolls to badmouth and spread fud and literally bring AC and millions of investment on the verge of death.
Oh now you're blaming the people who discovered this scam instead of blaming developer ? He help us cut huge potential loss. Just imagine if dev decided to dump all the remaining of his premine, the price should be 1 satoshi now.
What kind of asshole you are ?
First behave yourself.
Second, I am not blaming discovery of potential fraud, but the way it has been handled.Better option could have been the community takeover.
You are wrong about Whitecoin, its situation was much better than Asiacoin now. whitecoin premine is small and the currency can move on without considering that premine. Now look at 3 billion premined AC, compared with 140 million coins in circulation, you just can't rebuild everything as Whitecoin did. The only solution for Asiacoin is letting it die.
Ok then i have another question since u r all smart now, why didn't u notice this scam before and alert people, why did u even invest to AC if u know it was a scam. Now we can all be smart and telling each other "i told u so"
i m not smart. Look at my post. I believed in AC. This was the smoothiest launch of the past weeks. I had a lot of AC but seeing the volume at 2000, i decided to sell 2/3 of my ACs because i believed it will go down. Too much volume and pumped too quickly. I kept 1/3 for the long run.
But after that, Dev was absent during the switch to the POS phase ( first warning ) and no word after that. I decided to not take risk and sold around 1300 the rest of my holdings.
I m not smart, i try to be prudent and no too greedy.
When i told people that something was off, i was asked to leave the thread. That tells a lot about blindness of people when greed is involved.
u r really smart

the altcoins community should form a committee to vet all the new altcoins
the saddest part is this coin was really about to build a real active community that is lacking in most. without them who knows how long this might have gone unnoticed for
For now it would be better choice, then making all this panic, and ppl loosing money, it would be 2k buy now.
we found it on accident. we weren't hunting for a flaw. we wanted a better block explorer and a rich list when we noticed it was reporting what appeared to be an error
well done johny. this is the cleverest scam till now. you minimised damages
Even if this coin had a hidden premine, what gives Cryptsy the right to make my AC wallet and coins disappear? Even if the value is now 10 satoshi, I would still like to trade it. Put it back online!
but who is going to support the coin? the dev already abandoned the ship and preparing for another scam

Re: [ANN][AC]AsiaCoin - Version1.0.0.1 Released - Please Upgrade your wallet
Ok guys help me out with what I am seeing in the block explorer it shows 3,381,267,977 Coins WTF I thought the MAX was 360 million MAX this figure already shows 3.3 BILLION
Hey I first noticed something was wrong here , then others looked into it. But my question to the ENTIRE community is why is it some bitcoin mining noob "ME" catches this error but yet ALL these EXCHANGES AND POOLS LOOKED AT THIS SHIT AHEAD OF TIME AND SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!!!! DEMAND BETTER THEN THIS!!!!!
Why couldn't this investigation been done sooner? Is the hidden block true? If so, how was it not found and how did it get listed on so many exchanges?
I'm just surprised mintpal didn't halt trading sooner but cryptsy, not so much.
-tb-
that helped me to dump my AC holdings and move BTCs out
For eveybody who is buying. Once the exchanges will review the code and the blockchain, they will delist AsianCoin if they find 3B of premine, calling it a scam.
So be carefull with your BTC.
I have already sold and moved my BTCs out of exchange
